Maybe.
Both winning against middling competition.
Better than losing, I guess.
Today's games, notwithstanding.

People still complaining about Kentucky's offense but that's not the issue. 1.19 points per poss without Cason Wallace. It was a 57 possession game. South Carolina scored 1.24 ppp, their best of the season!

Oklahoma playing tight with Kansas on ESPN2. If Kansas loses we can make a statement later in the challenge.

I’m glad we play at 6 instead of 8 tomorrow night. Seems like most of our night games have been at 8.

I'm kinda the opposite. I like to be able to eat dinner and relax before the game. 8 is perfect for me. But that's getting pretty hate for Eastern time fans.

Funny enough, I'm in eastern time for another week or so. So 7 is good for a game.

Oklahoma is up on Kansas by 5 with under 7 minutes to play. They look like they'll be a tough opponent on the road.

Nice. Maybe he will be able to start ramping up a little early. Like Robot has said, it would be nice to have him ready @ Missouri (1/21). That's probably still a long shot though. I'm hoping that he will be back @ Oklahoma (1/28).

The two coaches both joined the SEC in 2019 — and have programs on the rise.

Since giving up 100 points to Gonzaga on Dec. 17th, Alabama has only surrendered an average of 61.3 PPG in its last four games.

If the Crimson Tide defend at a high level, they can win a national title.

Next up?

Arkansas TONIGHT at Bud Walton Arena.

Brandon Miller is a name you need to know

A lot of the bigger stars in college hoops, from Bacot to Purdue’s Edey to Kansas sensation Jalen Wilson were significant figures in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

Alabama forward Brandon Miller was the No. 11-ranked prospect in the recruiting class of 2022 during the 2021-22 season.

There are not 10 better freshmen, though.

There aren’t any.

Miller has been one of the best players in college basketball regardless of class. He averages 19.1 points and 8.5 rebounds for an Alabama team that has compiled a 13-2 record and, with a December road triumph at Houston, earned the single most significant victory of any college team this season.

Miller went 0-for-8 in that game and the Tide still won, which was quite a statement, especially given that was his only single-figure scoring game.

"We’re going to enjoy him for the one year we’ve got him," Alabama coach Nate Oats said following a victory over Ole Miss. "He’s going to be really good next year in the NBA."
