Not that it really means anything at this point, but most predictive systems have us losing to Gonzaga and Houston and winning the rest (including beating Memphis and Michigan State).
Of course last year we did the exact opposite and beat both of those teams, dropping Memphis plus Iona and Davidson, so who knows.

As long as we get good shots, we’ll shoot a decent percentage.
Didn’t work too well last year. Without hitting the three’s we have been pretty average under Oates. Poor defense last year highlighted the problems with poor shooting. Hope that we can hit them consistently this year and make free throws!

They definitely go as McGhee goes. ... We’re fully aware of that, and we’ve gotta make sure we’ve got a good game plan for McGhee and the right matchups.
Who are we putting on McGhee? Burnett has ideal length but not sure he can stay in front of him. I kinda feel like Sears would get lit up. Welch is probably out. Miles and 5 fouls? Not sure I like throwing Griffen on such an experienced guard.

People tend to forget that they have to defend us as well.
I think our shooting comes around tomorrow at the right time.
I would put Nimari Burnett or Mark Sears on him because both have shown that they can stay in front of people shoot Jaden Bradley is another guy I would throw into the fire.

Juwan Gary injured his shoulder tonight, still in the locker room, was for about the whole first half.

If we are shooting 10% from three point land it won't be difficult to defend.

Who said anything about losing? I said if we shoot 10% from 3 it's not hard to defend us. The key to winning is still the defense that we play. And in this game in particular, it will depend on the D we play on their little 5'9 PG.

Our team is just really big and athletic. If we stay healthy we’re going to be extremely difficult to score against. If we can get our shooting % up to a respectable number the ceiling is the roof.

This offense consist of three pointers and at the rim shots.
We was very difficult to defend Monday and even during exhibition game because we dominated at the rim.
We might be piss poor shooting right now but our length and athleticism gives us more opportunities at the rim.
McGhee can score 30 points for all I care but we can't let anyone else get off.

When you can run 4 dudes with 6'10"+ wingspans out there together they pretty much just have to play with an acceptable degree of effort on defense to be effective. If they actually know what they're doing they have the potential to be elite on that end.
