Oats’ strategy of “play good defense and the offense will come” isn’t working.

Meh. Houston is obviously good but in SEC play they would’ve had 13 or 14 fouls in the first half. If we want to come back in the game it’s pretty simple, force turnovers and make open shots

No idea why Bradley isn’t in the game. He’s our only composed ball handler

He coaches too carefree. That’s why our players have issues playing disciplined teams.

They want to toy with us and we're just letting them

No offense at all, we're turning the ball so much, we can't defend correctly

This is a winnable game

Yeah I am done. Nate can't even organize an offensive play to get us something.

We just go up randomly and play street ball.

You realize it should have been 42-26.... right?

We have literally given Houston every ability to stay in, then take over this game.

Offensively you have to. That’s where todays game is. He still rides their arse defensively.

A lot of it was counting on Houston missing shots because the Bama offense has looked terrible. No way we were going to keep up today if they managed to get hot.

Struggling with TOs and defense? Better put in Gurley and Quinerly.

Great logic, Oats.

Hope this doesn’t go the way of UConn game. Fight hard then give it up in 3-4 minutes.

Honestly, there looked like a difference in confidence and intensity coming out of halftime. They came out to impose their will in a cage fight, while we came out to play a regular season basketball game. We were hyped to start the game, but we looked a bit sheepish to start the half and it snowballed. We definitely should have started Bradley the 2nd half though.

It's amazing how many new faces we get in here when we're losing a game. We're on the road against the #1 team, with a bunch of young guys.

The problem is that when Houston makes shots we have to inbound the ball and play halfcourt offense, which consists of handing the ball to turnover prone players and having them play iso ball for a low percentage shot. Defense is our only offense.
