Point spread Saturday?

Where can you find spreads?

Clowney almost posterized some UNC guys too on that play where he got hurt.

Point spreads in college basketball typically don't post until a day before the game. Maybe sooner in some places. You can find them anywhere, like Vegas Insider.

ESPN, CBS Sports, and Yahoo will have the lines whenever they’re available tomorrow. My personal guess would be it opens Houston -6.5 or -7.

Thirty-five NBA scouts are expected for Saturday’s top-10 showdown between (1) Houston and (8) Alabama.

Pay no attention to Noah Clowney. These are not the droids you are looking for.

Marcus Sasser says he’s “definitely playing” against Alabama on Saturday despite his eye injury and will wear goggles (not these sick shades) to protect his eyes. @gocoogs1 LINK

on the coogs message board, they are still completely melting down about the non-goaltending call last year. WORST OFFICIATED GAME EVER!

Fans are stupid. I won't pretend we don't have them too, but they're definitely seeing what they want to see.

Video Version

quote:

Art. 3. Goaltending.
a. Goaltending occurs when a defensive player touches the ball during a
field-goal try and each of the following conditions is met: (Exception: Rule
10-4.1.h)
1. The ball is on its downward flight; and
2. The ball is above the level of the ring and has the possibility, while in
flight, of entering the basket and is not touching the cylinder.

b. It is goaltending to touch the ball outside the cylinder during a free throw,
regardless of whether the free throw is on its upward or downward flight.
c. When the ball contacts the backboard and any part of the ball is above
the rim during a field goal attempt, it is considered to be on its downward
flight. In such a case, it is goaltending when the ball is touched by a player
as long as it has a possibility of entering the basket.

A few years back, as the SEC was mired in mediocre to below level play on the national level, the SEC instructed the teams to start scheduling tougher OOC games, in hopes that would bolster the conference national perception.
And largely the schools did so.
But, glancing at this year's OOC games there are quite a few teams that really aren't playing anyone notable at all.
LSU, Mississippi State, and largely Auburn just look they they're just renting wins.
Does the SEC mandate tougher schedule anymore?
