Well be that as it may, we played way worse from the point that it was found out that Miller had the gun in his car. He was in innocent and put in that situation by Miles leaving it in his car.

That derailed our season, great job by the guys to navigate that and still make the sweet 16, but it cost us a shot at the championship imo.

Sickening.

This is all Wimp Sandersons fault. How do you go 0-6 in the Sweet16 and basically set the trend

Just wanted let you know fantastic job you did on this thread for the season. Not like we all wanted it to turn out of course, but it was a hell of season and one for the record books.

Appreciate all your efforts in this thread, great job. RTR

Proud of this guy! He experienced a lot, he learned a lot. The best is yet to come. It is time to test for a couple of days……then……he knows what to do??????

Im not disparaging anyone still on the team, I dont think they did anything wrong. That being said, being linked to a murder investigation had an affect on some members of our team. I dont think Poor Bradley made a shot all season after his name was linked to it.

Miller played with so much joy before that happened, when was the last time you saw him smile while playing?

Im not gonna lie, Miller’s been smiling in like every game I’ve watched at some point or fired up.

Not sure that’s the best example

Bradley couldn’t really shoot before that investigation linked him, and he did tear up Auburn @ Auburn with his driving

Tonight was just a night when all our guards played below average games and the refs just basically let it turn into a football game for SDSU, which is a strong combo to lose more often than not.

What i am curious to now see unfold is who we go after in the transfer portal and how many bodies we lose/ if we have any potential transfers

Princeton would be a good starting point for staff plucking.

There's no other way to describe this as nothing but an epic choke job. We will never have a clearer path to a final four. The program is cursed and there's nothing that can be done about it. Put another name on the jersey and Oats as head coach and this team easily advances to the final four.

Nate Oats is going to have to make some adjustments if he ever wants to win a national championship. He was totally out coached tonight. His timeout usage was inexcusable. Until proven otherwise, Nate Oats is a Midwestern Mark Gottfried.

They been breaking my heart since 1976.

I hoped this team was different, but you’re not beating a good team shooting 11% from 3.

Roll Tide… we had a good year. But it’s tough to come up short yet again

Dean Smith frustrated UNC fans for years before winning one. Same with Roy Williams and Bill Self.

This will forever be a thing. I don't ever see them making a final four. It's literally impossible. You have garbage arse historical programs like South Carolina and Auburn that have a final four.

It would help if the instate talent was more robust.

Wonder if the overinflated balls made any difference in our poor shooting

Nope. Princeton and Creighton are shooting 40% from 3 with the same ball. It has to do with an entir backcourt that checked out in February and a superstar freshman choosing to save his worst performances of the season for the NCAA tournament. And of course the script A on the jersey.

I wish Nate would look into getting a shooting coach with one of the open spots. Our offense is so good already without being that great shooting it. If we were around 36-37% we would be unbeatable. We almost were at 34%

We would be unbeatable at 30%. The problem is the last month and half we’ve been a 15% team.
