This early session has sucked. Only upset was 11 in Pitt looking Iowa St. But that isn't really much of an upset.

Miller's comment about it made me feel a little better about it.
quote:
He downplayed the injury in the locker room after the game but was more open about receiving treatment Friday. As long as he can warm up and loosen the muscle, he said he feels 100 percent.
"It's good," Miller said. "Just taking it slow, day by day, step by step, really just getting it back to 100 percent."
Asked whether he expects to play against Maryland, Miller said, "Of course. I'm always going to play every game unless someone says something else."

One good thing about the Maryland game is we're playing them in Birmingham, with fans expecting up to be in the 2nd round. So it's basically a Bama home game.
On Torvik, Maryland is #26 (22-12. In road games, they're #82 (2-9). In away/neutral, they're #43 (6-11). But really, this is a road game, and they really suck on the road. This is the perfect 8/9 seed to land, vs someone like Memphis (or even Arkansas).

Per @westwood1sports, the SEC's 5 tournament wins yesterday ties the record for the most NCAA Tournament wins in 1 day by teams from a single conference
But the rant told me the SEC was down this year.
And yes I know, but it's still funny.

Honestly...yeah I'm with you. Oats doesn't have the best track record of giving us accurate injury information regarding the players, I could see Oats trying to play this up a bit.
I mainly just don't get how Miller went from jumping out of the gym Sunday against A&M to now Oats "praying" he plays tomorrow night.

Really liking FDU's approach against Purdue. Absolute hair on fire on both ends. But especially defense. and subbing everyone out to get rest.

Hard for me to understand how anyone could actually believe this.

I had no idea who he was before Wednesday, but I really like their coach based on the short interviews I saw him do with Rothstein.

Brandon Miller jumped to HEAVEN when he got called for goaltending. He's FINE!
NOT ONE WORRY HERE!
Miller didn't have a poor performance either like I've seen in reports. He actually played really good per usual because every time he touched the ball...Texas CC defense gravitated towards him like it was eyes on him at all times but he made the proper reads when he needed to.
