So far this year Mark Sears is:

22 - 32 from the field
8-11 from 3
21-23 from the line

Our shooting is so damn consistent this year. Wow

We're taking a lot of good 3s. Every once and a while you'll see someone force one. But nothing like we'd see on past teams.

Sears can play at the next level. He’s an alternate universe Jose Alvarado. Really savvy offensive player and good enough on defense

Sears has some weaknesses, but he's become probably my favorite player on the team

I stand by last years nickname, Might Mouse.

Although against Mercer's guards, he looks huge.

size is what hurts him in the draft. But with last year and how he's started this year, I'm convinced he'll get the opportunity. At worst, he'll enjoy hooking up with a ton of European women throughout his 20s.

Size and athleticism, if he was that size and very athletic it wouldn't be as bad.

You can play in the NBA and be small if youre athletic enough, look at Spud Webb.

Please move us into the top 15 next week. Not because I want that to happen or it even matters but because there aren't 15 teams that can beat us shooting like that.

Come on man.

Mercer has slowly fallen off a cliff since Hoffman retired. This team is bad.

Going to be difficult to whittle the playing time down to 8 or 9 during sec play. Could 10 play effectively? Fun to watch at the moment. Nate has done a good job with a lot of new guys.

Not typically.

You gotta spread 200 minutes of playing time around.
You'd figure 3 or so players would earn 30 minutes a game. So, leaves around 100 minutes to spread among 7 players? If a couple of players are cool with around 5 minutes a game, maybe.

Honestly, you kinda want a young big cool with 5 minutes and maybe use 5 fouls.

Michigan gave up 94 points to LongBeach and lost by 10 points. All world transfer Nimari Burnett was 2 of 9 for five points. (and no steals or blocks)

Why are we hating on Nimari?

He's determined to prove Nimari wasn't a good defensive player based on the all-important stat of steals.

Or any other stat that you use to determine how good or bad someone is on defense. Or offense for that matter.
