Game started -9.5…got down to -7.5, and is now -8.5.

I was kind of trying to figure out why A&M is such a mid team, considering on paper they have players that people seem high on. Wade Taylor has always seemed overvalued to me, but he can at times go off and Radford can be volatile. I didn't realize how historically bad they are shooting the 3 this year until really diving into their numbers. I mean, they are statistically atrocious... What im really getting at is I expect them to make 17 3 pointers today...

Yeah, it sure seems like Wade Taylor either shoots 5-10 from behind the arc or 0-10.

There are a lot of things that make me nervous about our start in this game (bye week, morning tip, A&M off embarrassing loss, they’re the more physical team, Buzz’s relative success against Nate, etc.), but I’m hoping our veteran leadership and more polished players can overcome those. If I was forced to bet the line, I’m probably taking the 8.5 points on this one. Hope I’m wrong and we win by 30

Edit: If the refs swallow their whistle and we get the typical Bama home court non-advantage, this one could be a dogfight.

He has the Rod Grizzard factor. 4 out of 5 games he gets 15-17 points on 6-17 shooting and has 4 turnovers..But 1 out of 5 games he goes unconscious and basically hits everything and goes for 25-30 points and doesn't turn the ball over. He's never not going to shoot, he's greedy and overzealous, just hope we don't catch his outlier game.

Hope we look rested but not rusty. Also hope some of our dinged up guys have healed a bit. It would be good to see Wague closer to 100%. RTR

Yep, still remember Vincent Yarbrough from UT saying "we knew he was flammable, you just hope he doesn't catch fire".

Grizzard also did it against Auburn one year. We had lost to Auburn by like 54 points in the previous meeting.

Awesome start!!!

A&M trying to make it a physical struggle with 2 of our guys already taking blows to the face, but guys are playing through it!

This is the type of game where I am so thankful we have Estrada instead of JQ at the point. Estrada won’t back down from contact
