Do they seriously have AAU for 1st graders? AAU with 8 foot hoops? That’s hilarious to me. Play at your local Y, rec or church league for a minute.

Posted this awhile back on the recruiting board.

Championship level win tonight. Kudos to the team for a resilient second half. Roll Tide
I agree, but it's still Georgia and that arena was not intimidating at all.
We've got to avoid horrible dry spells, whether at the beginning of the game, or in the middle.
And, that first half was inexcusable.

Georgia is a good team. This will end up a Q1 win. It’s very impressive

Considering what a disaster road games have been for nearly everyone in the country this year, take any road win however you get it. And yeah it was just barely a Q2. UGA was like 77 in NET last night. They just don't know how to win because they've been shite forever and Mike White is not the guy to teach a team how to win tough games.

I'm not taking away from a win. Especially a road win.
Maybe I was most underwhelmed by their fans.
Just as bad as ponytail white boy dunk attempts.

I had a friend that went and said it was beyond loud in the first half. Sometimes the tv doesn't show you much, I mean Coleman never looks that rowdy on tv and can get that way.
We can make a move on Sat. Everyone right behind us plays each other:
S Car (6-2) @ UGa (4-4)
Aub (6-2) @ Ole Miss (5-3)
Tenn (5-2) @ Ken (5-3)
I'd take a UGa, OM and Ken W this Saturday, along with ours in Ttown. Everyone but us having 3 losses Sat night is a possibility.
Remember when we were 6-5?

Does someone know when they showed Kirby? We outscored them by a ton from there onward

I need a blue collar point per minute stat.

I guess I could stop being lazy and do it myself. Blue collar points per minute below. Basically confirms Estrada and Nelson are dawgs for as many minutes as they get, and Pringle and Wague would win the hard hat every night if they didn't average a foul every minute or two.
- Aaron Estrada: 0.4155
- Grant Nelson: 0.4206
- Mark Sears: 0.3066
- Nick Pringle: 0.6096
- Mo Wague: 0.7932
- Rylan Griffen: 0.2861

I would say this team is the same caliber as the 21 team. Not near as good as last years team tho.

That's probably fair. Both are fiddler crab teams, but with the big claw on different sides. If Bediako hadn't screwed us we'd be a title favorite.

Yeah, me either.
I had ESPN pulled up looking for some advanced stats (which they still don't seem have) when you posted that, so I just used those.
I don't know exactly how they quantify it, so it may just be a subjective metric depending on who is keeping it — like how they round up or down for each game, etc.

I was informed that Estrada is a lazy, good for nothing bum.

My honest take is that Nelson has/had some confidence issues since changing leagues, which IMO is understandable.
I think he is slowly figuring out that he can still take it to the basket in certain ways (that maybe he's not as used to), and no one can stop him, unless he gets fouled.
And probably part of it isn't his fault — if we had a rim-protector or a reliable big (or even a defensive floater like Herb), he could probably spend more comfortable time at the wing, instead of getting backed-down half the game. In his current role, I'm sure he's getting physically exhausted.
It would probably mess him up offensively, but if he had just a bit more mass, he'd really be the perfect player in our system.
That 3-pt shot has always been there, I think he's just needed things to start going his way again, and get some confidence back in his game. Maybe he finally shot his way out.
Just my two cents.
