The goal for this edition of the b-ball team is the defense just be good enough each night to win. The offense is good enough to win against most teams in the nation but they need good adjustments and timely defense.

Thought 2nd half defense was better and adjusted to their bull drives to the rim. Then once we broke it open we kind of got sloppy again.

We got sloppy on O at the end too. Hardest thing to do is to get a team to keep focus when the game is over.

This team is really improving as a unit as well as individually. The younger guys are growing up fast! Still tempering my expectations after last season though.

Yup. They locked them up to get the margin to put the game away but the effort went down a bit in the final 7 minutes or so. I hate to see that but a fair bit of the final 5 minutes was a rotating in of back bench depth.

Last 2 games have been really fun to watch from the concrete palace (aka The Hangar). The crowds have been great, and I imagine next Saturday will be the same with State coming to town.
With road trips to AU and UK still on the schedule, UGA is almost a must win if we want to win the conference. I honestly can’t believe we have a legit chance to compete for the conference championship after our early season defensive struggles. Love to see the fight from the veterans and the young guys following suit.
