Tennessee and Auburn are probably (along with Alabama and Kentucky) the top 4 in the league and Alabama has to play both of them twice.

I would rather play Auburn and Tennessee twice than only once on the road.

These next two games are big if we want a shot at winning the league this year. Not "must haves" but they are still big.

Cannot go 0-2.

If we can only win 1 out of 2 then I'll take the L in Knoxville and the W vs Auburn in Tuscaloosa easily.

Can't lose to the barners at home.

Agreed. But man we are the only team in the presumed Top 4 that plays at all 3 of the other contenders’ place. Auburn doesn’t go to Kentucky, Kentucky doesn’t go to Ttown, Tennessee doesn’t go to Auburn

If we wanna win the SEC, I think we need to go 8-1 in our games against the teams outside the Big 4:

LSU
@Georgia
Mississippi State
@LSU
Texas A&M
Florida
@Ole Miss
@Florida
Arkansas

That would put us at 12-1. If we go 2-3 against the remaining contenders, that puts us at 14-4. This is often the sweet spot for a share of the conference

It is just the difference between your record and what it estimates your record should be. We are one of the more unlucky teams. Probably has something to do with the fact that we had a 6 point lead in the second half of 4 of our 5 losses

Nate Oats on Mo Wague's progress with injury: "With the injury, he can't really practice. Trying to save him for games. He hasn't practiced much. It's a little bit harder when you can't practice to be in sync with everybody else for the games. He's kind of available as front court depth when we need it. We know he's going to play hard, just he's got this injury kind of have to deal with the rest of the year."

Deboer was wearing the classic logo on Finebaum today like Oats does. I would love for us to start using it again.

Oh No, for the rest of the year? Basketball keeps getting these year long injuries every year.
Hope Sears is OK.
Never mind, I see Mark is practicing.

Losing this one wouldn't hurt us much but a win would be huge.
