Conference record first four years in league:
Nolan Richardson/Tubby Smith 49-15 (76%)
Petino 49-19 (72%)
Pearl/UT 46-18 (72%)
Oats 49-23 (68%)
Joe B Hall 49-23 (68%)
Wade 46-24 (65% and blatantly cheated)
Musselman 41-30 (58%)
Barnes 42-30 (58%)
Donovan 33-31 (51%)

Oats at 70% in league play after the 4-0 start.

Our coach is good.

Greg Sankey and the SEC has issued a public reprimand against Alabama HC Nate Oats for his altercation with Missouri’s Aidan Shaw last night:

I cannot wait until this a-hole is gone forever.

If you're going to reprimand anyone, how about starting with the dipshit ref crew who was about to let a fricking fight start while they stood around with their thumbs up their asses.

Eh he definitely shouldn’t have done it. However that statement and a monetary fine screams “we don’t actually care but we have to act like we do”

This is such an embarrassment for our society. There was zero aggression or threat from Oats and Shaws entire behavior is the only thing that should draw reprimand. Shaws only intent was either to instigate or bait and Oats absolutely did the best thing possible to eliminate any further stupidity.

These college athletes can’t be seen as “kids” anymore if you’re going to pay them money. They should be held to the same standard as the other money making adults on the floor. Nobody would’ve thought twice if a ref or other player had pushed Shaw away, and they would’ve used much more force.

Oats was definitely wrong. If it was will wade, Bruce Pearl, or musselman we’d all agree. There was a better way to break it up than making contact with an opposing player. Hopefully it will be a learning experience for all involved.

I disagree with this. Had Pringle been sizing up the Missouri bench and Gates helped him move along, only jackwagons would complain.

I agree with this disagree - the guy was in our huddle jawing at our guys. The referees should have physically escorted him out right away instead of trying to reason with him to leave. It should have been a T from the get go and if he resisted leaving with the ref, a double T and then he could go sit in the locker room.
