I thought everyone played well today aside from Stevenson and Pringle, neither of them were that bad, they played with a lot of effort on defense.

Pringle and Wague I felt bad for....a lot of effort but it's hard to play when they let Lurch do whatever but you get a whistle for nothing. And Lurch is used to asking for and getting what he asks for too.

I’m not saying they suck or that they can’t be good for us the rest of the way…but today from a scoring aspect they didn’t offer much.

Nelson has been doing it all year. I get we love to kick it back out in this offense but he needs to commit more when backing a defender down or driving to the basket.

There’s overly negative fans and overly positive fans. I can tell you’re king sunshine pumper. That’s cool. Pump away. I’m just going to be truthful good or bad.

Estrada was off on offense today for sure but he played good otherwise, you said he was terrible today and nelson wasn’t much better which isnt true. They both played well enough for us to beat Purdue if not for the refs and they were both injured.

Both had a lot of rebounds and assists and Nelson especially played really well on defense. Nelson was our 2nd leading scorer with 11 points.

Umm…let’s not be demoting Joka so flippantly.

Choosing to be rational rather than melting doesn’t make Fever a pumper.

I’m still pretty fricking pissed about the officiating. This was a 10pt win by us if it’s called properly

Honest question….do we really want our guys going to the basket when they got a 7’4 guy that the officials are letting do whatever he wants?

Lol Thanks. Im not a sunshine pumper. Its reality that we were gonna have some growing pains with this team having a lot of new players and 3 new coaches. We hung with a team today that was a one seed last year and returned everyone, two of our best players were toughing it out hurt too. I loved the fight I saw from our team today. Hopefully we can get one of these next two, if we fight like we did today I think we will.

One thing about Oats that I love is that when we are getting hosed he will get on that arse and get a T. The foul differential was lopsided and he had every reason to get after them

This was a much better game than our two other losses. Effort was there the whole game but just one guy scoring is rarely going to cut it.

Purdue fans running their mouths and complaining over traveling not being calling on the Sears layup. Edey traveled more than once. No call.

Clown fan base. Imagine being a basketball school and still not being able to win a Natty. I’ll enjoy another early exit from the Boilermakers this year.

Edey is just big. He'll not be some superstar at the next level there are plenty of folks that are big there and skilled.

If Bediako had returned this year .. which he should have! We win that game yesterday.

Edey is obviously a handful, but Chuck could have shown him down

With Bediako leaving so late it was hard to find a good replacement. I don’t blame him at all for leaving, with him being from Canada his NIL situation was weird, but I think he knew the whole time he was going to leave and didn’t let anyone know til the last minute, which hurt us.

The staff was led to believe the whole time that Bediako was coming back, which is why we scheduled this game in Canada. If we had known he was for sure leaving we would’ve had a great shot with Kel’el Ware and some other top centers.

Wague has been solid, glad he was available so late, the staff did a great job landing him.

Good point about Ware. Maybe Kaluma, transferring from Creighton too. Went to K State and having awesome year.,
