Not saying who but they live in my neighborhood. I didn’t ask too many questions but what I gather is the university has bought a couple houses in a high end neighborhood in tuscaloosa that several of the higher end players live in together.
I can take this two ways. 1.) Good, get them away from the Strip and the riff raff that can cause problems. Not saying they won't be there anyways but if you don't live by it on a day to day basis you won't get into as much trouble
2.) WTF?!? Just like Gov't spending. Who is paying for that? Oh yeah, it's the "tax payers/donors/parents paying tuition"

How do we know that what the poster said is true ? Anyone can post anything online. BOL is loaded with trolls.

When i was in school a bunch of the OL lived together in a nice big house that one of their parents had bought. It's not totally unheard of. I graduated a long time ago.
But your point is definitely valid that the fans money is just going to support a lavish lifestyle for the football team. Me personally, id rather spend my money elsewhere. I wish i had money to burn. But im not giving away what ive got so i can go tell people that now we have 19 national championships. I have lived through 7 of them. None were life changing enough for me to be throwing the kind of money that these kids are looking for at the athletic department with no benefit. It just seems like insanity.

Yeah Hubbard has to start. Sabb and others have to fit around him

Wild that Hubbard was a higher rated safety than Downs, but he was really that good. I hate that the Oklahoma game turned out like it did, because the play where he came into the box and popped that RB and forced a fumble was an incredible play, but was overshadowed by the bad loss.

Not usually a fan of RBR, but they've started their series on analyzing the 2025 new additions to the team. The series goes through each position, provides some background on the player, then analyzes their playstyle, scheme fit and prediction on playing time.
Looks like they started with the defensive line:
Meet Alabama Football’s 2025 new recruits: Defensive Line
Correction: Looks like the DL was the third position group:
Meet Alabama Football’s 2025 new recruits: Secondary
Meet Alabama Football’s 2025 new recruits: Linebackers
