So we can keep acting like this didn't happen but to win Championships you've got to get lucky once or twice. That element is real, and therefore Championships are typically fragile and not "let's award the glass football to the pre-season #1 team".

He is just trying to explain that we should be happy with what we have already. But Lloyd, bro, if we do go down this year or next, that will be the time to look back at it all, for now, let's focus on making history not looking back on it.

How about Alabama was just a damn good team that played within a BCS system and has won 3 National Championships?
Yeah, Alabama was fortunate and caught some breaks, but we dominated in those BCSCG's.

Very rarely does a team win a nc now days without a little luck.
LSU won a couple natty's with regular season losses. In 03 they lost to UF. In 07 they lost to the likes of kentucky AND arkansas and still got in. They're lucky other teams crapped the bed same as Bama's lucky okie st lost in 2011.
In 08 UF won the nc with a loss to ole miss.
Auburn won in '10 after barely winning about 5 of their games. I'm quite sure you could find a solid handful of plays that involved a little technique and a lot of luck that got them those wins. For example when the auburn defender punched the ball out from behind Ingram and the ball went through the end zone instead of out of bounds resulting in a touchback for Aub. That one play could be the difference in Aub winning or losing that game.

You could literally do what he just did to any national championship team....every team has close calls. Just because it's Alabama it's different though. I'm so sick of this argument and I vote for this guys privilege to post on this board be revoked.
