Good play to get two, but damn if it was just completely unnecessary. Why let them plate a run before you pull him? He gave you three good innings. He did his job. Time for you to do yours, Bo.

Again, I haven’t seen as many games as most of you, but is Bo planning on winning this one without Hess and pitching him hard this afternoon?

Well he struck the first guy out but the ump has a major league strike sone for a 9:30 game on a day stated for 4 games.
In the pregame meeting with the coaches he should have said “I’m giving 1-2 inches off the plate to keep these games moving.”

He’s definitely not giving us anything remotely close, no disagreement there.
