I laughed so hard when I saw that post, I took a screenshot of it. I still have it somewhere

Those were the days man. We had a lot of fun on WoollyAL as well. Kingpin was there for a good bit, we had our secret room. People always tried to guess who I was, it even made it on Twitter. The heavy sauce days if you will.

I never posted but tidesports and rollbamaroll were my go to websites. When Shula was fired and the rumor was Steve Spurrier was an amazing time. I had never been so excited.

Who was the guy with the monkey avatar?
Posted on 11/17/23 at 1:15 pm to father2sons
I don't remember a monkey avatar - but if there is an option, I always turn avatars off

I think it was a monkey smoking a cigarette.
That might be on this site though I can’t remember now haha

I think TideSports was also where I first saw the Long Cat thing and people derailing a thread with "This is now a long cat thread"
but

Indeed.
WoollyAl 1.0 was Bama's ShaggyBevo. Smart, funny and unadulterated. Really miss that.
Anyone ever hear from Crimson Chris (tidesprotz and a bit on Woolly)? Actually reminds me of SOGs posting. Solid dude. But, he grew up and got a job... In Bama sports broadcasting if I recall correctly

Anyone remember the WoolyAl grilling/chilling (I think that was the cooking page) thread where someone with a handle very similar to a poster here posted a pic of some ribs or something that showed his hands? Someone made a comment about his fingers looking like toes, and from then on that poster was known as FootHands?
Really miss WoolyAl

I made all the graphics for the WoollyAl site! All the way down to the "post" "reply" buttons you would use.
bamachine was a homie. Wonder whatever happened to him. I still have his number
