Why is he all of a sudden worried about getting paid? Doesn’t seem like his personality. I think he’s worried about his longevity in the nfl. If he’s concerned about injuries, do we want him back?! What if him staying causes another recruit to not come here. Then, Tua gets hurt. That would screw us again.

Thoughts??

It would have been stranger if he would have made a decision today. I don't believe there's anything strange about this

He always is. Every player always is. It's just it didn't become the top priority until the end of his third season when he has to make the choice.

Lol why the heck shouldn't he be worried about his financial future?

When was he not concerned about getting paid?

What has gotten into our fans?

What's wrong with him being concerned about his future... He's a first round talent and will make millions in the NFL... I hope he goes and gets selected top 5. Probably won't happen due to his injury history but he owes us nothing and I hope that he takes as much time as he needs to make the best decision for himself..

What’s so unreal? I’m simply asking a question for discussion. Thank you for taking time to find a gif that adds absolutely nothing to the discussion. Derp.

I’m no doctor or work in that field, but high ankle sprains are not career ending injuries.

Hip injuries on the other hand can be. But from what has been said he will make a full recovery.

I think in Tua’s case all he’s doing is marketing himself for the teams in the league that are interested in his talents. Today’s nfl loves players like Tua. Not just because he has the skill set at his position, it’s because he projects a good image that’s marketable in so many ways. He’s worth the risk...

0-20 on the upvotes/downvotes should tell you who really added nothing in this thread.

Boz, who are these guys that are posting these dumb topics? Old LSU troll accounts? They're all like 4-5 years old with around 500 posts.

It's very odd, because I don't know any Bama fan that thinks like these dudes.

Look at it this way as far as marketing.

Tua and his mother would be ideal for a Campbell’s soup commercial. Or a Aflac accident policy, lol.

If Tua has a good career in the league, he’s a marketing gold mine.

I might be a derp, but I’ve never started a thread receiving exactly 0 upvotes and 22 downvotes.

I'm sure Saban approved the press conference.

I think the gif absolutely added to the discussion. Your post was a head shaker and there was nothing odd about the, "Tua thing".

I’m getting lots of name calling, but no discussion. can we not have a simple discussion on whether or not we really want a qb that might be made of glass? Come on folks, you’re better than this.

Ok, so let me understand. You want to have a serious discussion about whether or not we, as Alabama fans, would want to have the best quarterback in program history to come back? Not to mention your first statement was that it didn’t seem like his “personality” to be concerned about making money in the NFL, which if you wouldn’t want him to come back is exactly what he should be concerned about right now?

You can’t have a discussion about an illogical thought sequence.

You've got to be a troll. What in the holy hell do you mean, "do we want him back"?

Is this really the most important consequence of that scenario -- that we'd lose out on a player that's scared of competition and/or sitting out 1 single year? Don't you think we'd be more worried about Tua's career and health in that case?

I just don't know what kind of twisted perspective you seem to have gotten yourself into regarding Tua, but it's freaking weird.
