Is there any doubt the 2010 team absolutely murders this team?

This team would lose to every Saban era team except for 2007, and that would likely be a close game on the road. In fact, if they played that 2007 team in October, I'm pretty confident that 2007 wins.

No. Upshaw and Dareus would have our OL contemplating retirement.

Nope, that team was talented they just had a lot of youth and inexperience. This year’s team is healthy and experienced at most positions but still sticks.

People forgot the 2010 team had to play like 6 opponents coming off a bye. The conference changed the rules regarding bye weeks because it was such a disadvantage.

The division was better in 2010 as well. This year is the worst the SEC West has been since Arkansas won it.

Alabama probably loses to TU if Ewers stays healthy.

A&M and Arkansas dropped G5 games.

LSU lost to a middling Florida State team in a game played in Louisiana.

Auburn got crushed at home by Penn State.

And the Mississippi schools dialed up two of the easiest OOC schedules possible.

We somehow have failed to win the division against that sorry group this season.

True and people forget all the injuries that team had to key players. The starting OL that year only played 5 games togother and were 5-0 in those games.

Very true. Watching this team play reminds me of the 2009 USC team where Carroll finally ran out of reloads and didn’t have the assistants he wanted. They lost a game and everyone thought it was just routine, but as the season went on and they kept playing like garbage it became clear something was really off.

That 2007 team played the National Champs that year really tough.

No doubt they would give this 2022 team a close 1 possession game, maybe even beat them
