Kirby is going nowhere. His main roadblock just retired. He’s looking at making a run. Anything other than this is false. We got our man. Let him work and chill out now.

LINK

It’s an espn article that came out Thursday. Flew under the radar I guess from Saban retiring.

More than rumors. A former member of their recruiting staff who was involved in that fatal street racing crash they got Jalen Carter out of is basically alleging in a lawsuit that getting drunk and partying with recruits before driving them around is SOP with the entire UGA staff.

I don't know if people realized this or not but Nick Saban said he ran the defense basically so I don't know why people over reacting to Trob leaving...a bunch of folks have left here before.

The secondary coach for Washington seemed just as good or better than him ..just saying.

Coach DeBoer took lesser talent at the OL and made them the Joe Moore trophy winning unit

The timing of the article was just right to keep it quiet for sure. But yes, he was letting that go on at his home

Thanks for telling me. Yeah, I missed that story completely. That could be trouble legally. Don't know if it will make it up to Kirby but many of those staffers at the very least are going to need to resign.

FACTS!! His staff has been able to develop guys at multiple positions on offense.

I think if his defensive line/linebackers coach had our talent then I would think highly of them as well.

Their secondary coach is good!!

Saban didn't basically say he ran the defense. He said he was more involved than usual. That was due to Steele not being able to go like he used to, which is why he also retired. Trob handled corners, safeties, and called the D on the sideline with Steele talking to him in the booth. He also handled making sure everyone was lined up right and communicating audibles, etc. Don't down play the job he did just to make it sound like losing him doesn't matter. He did a great job last year.

New Saban.

Sucks for us. He didn't waste any time either. Took T-Rob and that will hurt us big time.

He might get some recruits here and there but all Coach DeBoer has to do is win.

Let's not lie to ourselves.

Kirby is strategic and isn't a fool. Saban admitted that Kirby beat him to hiring Dan Lanning before he moved to do it. Kirby also hired Schumman who everybody here loves as well.

People want to play down T-Rob now but every one of you knew his value before and wanted him to stay and Kirby does as well hence how quickly he moved to take him away.

This isn't good at all.

Then we have to recruit against all of that. Smh

New Saban.

The guy’s success has been built entirely on grabbing Saban assistants and players/recruits. Hell he damn near photo-copied everything he could get his hands on before he left Tuscaloosa

Gonna be interesting the next few years with Saban not being around for Kirby to try and steal from
