Texas is building, I'd say not quite there yet, but they should be a top 10 team soon. They are dangerous, but SHOULD be very beatable for us. Play them like they're the #1 seed and we should be celebrating the second day.

Just bought 4 GA tickets for the Saturday game if it happens. First time for my 2 girls to go to an Alabama softball game. They love it, pretty excited.

I saw where she made adjustments last weekend where she shortened her stride. But the pitcher is not helping her by throwing to the outside part of the plate.

When they are on base I see they put their left foot on base and right foot behind the base, wouldn't it be better to put the left foot on the base and right foot in front to get a half a second faster? I know I'm wrong just looking for the reason they do this.

They do it to push off the base but I was watching that too. Would be awkward for me

I assume they time their leadoff with the pitch. So they start their lead off run by advancing their back foot which leaves your front foot on the bag. YOu cant leave the bag until the ball leaves the pitchers hand. Just a hunch
