I never like to blame refs or umps for a loss, but that was some bad officiating in that game

3rd baseman is to slow for 3rd base. leadoff hitter cant hit, went 0-11. pitchers looked like they were intentionally throwing balls early in the count. digging themselves holes very hard to get out of. fl hitters were just patiently letting them. errors are never good, especially when totally unnecessary. no hits at crucial times, in either game. how many times did bama have bases loaded and didnt score, hmm...

I don't know how "horrible" Wallace's error was but I do know it allowed Lorenz to get to bat and produce the deciding two runs. I don't understand why we just didn't walk Lorenz who is an outstanding hitter. Fouts was handicapped in that the ump would not give her the outside part of the plate when replay showed those pitches were strikes. Regarding Brown, when they changed the rule about making contact with the ball with a foot on the batter's box line (calling the player out) that completely negated her as a hitter (she was 0 for 10 in the tournament and looked bad doing it). However I support keeping her in for her defensive skills. In the bottom of the seventh with two out I don't understand why Murph wouldn't let Brown try to steal second. A hit by Morgan would have scored the tying run. Wouldn't have made any difference anyway since Morgan struck out on a ball right down the middle and her swing missed the ball by a foot. The development of Goodman over the season has been remarkable; we now have a very good pitching staff that will serve us well in the tournament. RTR

Yep. Swept them on the road and they won yesterday by one run. Ridiculous. Also we beat Minnesota during the season

It's all who is the 9 seed.
An 8 seed would guarantee a home super regional, correct? So, whether you're 1 or 8, it really doesn't matter, other than who might be your next opponent.

True but it also means that if we make it through Supers we will face the number 1 seed. I don’t want to face number 1 nor 2.

There's no justifiable excuse for having Alabama an eight seed. What a joke. The committee should have to explain this shite

52-7, won the regular season title in the toughest league in softball. How the hell was Bama not a top 3 seed?

Bama was 33-18 last year and got the 13 seed.

Bama should play with a chip on there shoulder, though Texas will be tough in the Supers.

Bama has had OU number in the postseason, kinda like Florida has Bama's number in the postseason.

I mean, we'll have to beat one or both of them to win a title so what difference does it make when the game is played? Going to the loser's bracket would suck, but if we can't beat Oklahoma in the first game we aren't going to be able to beat them in the last game either.
