Spread had Bama as 13.5 point favorites. The pick six was the difference between a three point win and a nine point win.

Maybe it is corruption. How else did they get a playoff game( and were horrible) last year. They were an absolute embarrassment for the SEC in that TCU vs Michigan game.

I thought the spread was 7. Either way Arnold scored and we were not given the points.

And shitty CBS said nothing at all of it, that I remember.

CBS gave Bama the points and flashed the touchdown banner. Nessler had an exciting call about how the game ended with a walkoff pick six. Then after the Saban interview, they explained that the touchdown had not counted. So they did address it. The big problem was on Autry - who, again, is the worst official in football. In that scenario, the official is supposed to come over his microphone and announce "The ruling on the field is that the runner was out at the three yard line. The game is over." I'm amazed that CBS managed to figure out what happened at all given that Autry couldn't even be bothered to state what had occurred.

By far the worst call in Knoxville last year was on the interception that we returned out of the endzone across midfield just to have the furthest official from the play throw a flag after the ball had been returned 35 or so yards. The bastard thought it was going to the house and had to stop it

I didn't hear it either but as they were playing the music and Nessler was talking about going back to NY for college scoreboard, he did mention, 'By the way, they did take away that interception for a touchdown' then lists the final score. (@ 3:34:30 on YouTube TV if that helps)

I thought they were going to end it Rocky III (thunderlips) style when the announcer states 'See you next year', then under his breath says ... 'thank God'.

the most blatant missed call was the three men in motion at the snap. You've got the line judge, the head linesman, the center judge, and the referee with it all happening right in front of them. How in the hell can all of them miss that?

They're just utterly incompetent, and at a minimum should be suspended from the postseason.

Regardless, looking at the Ref who over-rode him... that fellow was on the alabama sideline, on the AUBURN 42... more than 20 yards awa

Hmmmmm. Usually, it would be called a catch and then reviewed to confirm. So the ref, on the au sideline called it incomplete?

No...Sorry if I wasn't clear. He is on the BAMA sideline, you can see him in the photo at the top right of the image. He is back across the 50 yd line and is the back judge [in case a deep ball was thrown].

The ref who called the pass complete is NOT shown in the photo. He is out of frame on the lower left of the image and was standing 11 yds from the catch.

I too was surprised with the way this call was handled being reversed on the field, looking for evidence to overturn.

How this crew isn't just calling vandy games only is nuts.

Even the fight at the end the head ref I think gets rolled over how a ref gets hit in a fight and doesn't throw a flag is crazy.

on the 3 men in motion, Danielson made what sounded like a sarcastic comment to their in house former college official- rules person, "can you have 3 players in motion"? He didnt even bother to answer it.

I think on plays like that Saban should have a fit like the aub coach did. If it got a make up call that took away our second TD, his little conniption fit changed the game.

Also, on the "missed" call for the face mask, the push in the back just as our player was about to get to the punt returner, clearly cause the face mask grab. If the barn player had called for a fair catch and our player got shoved in the back into the barn player, it wouldnt be a penalty. Whats the difference?

The ref from this crew that threw the PI flag during the UT game is now in the NFL. This crew did a playoff game.

Its mindblowing.
