Not only that but when he had the press conference with all the trophies the day after the game he insisted they bring Mal on stage for the photo ops. If Saban writes a book on his time at Bama it would not surprise me if it wasn't mostly about him and Mal.

70% he is staying. After hearing what I heard today that I posted about earlier, the possibility of him leaving seems very real. I feel like he is staying, but I have a lump in my gut nonetheless.

I will say this, after losing last saturday, then the barn headed to the ship, me backing my truck into my ex-wifes car saturday, then falling sunday and fricking my back up again... If we lose Saban, I may go on an alcoholic binge from whence there may be no return.

ETA: oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I lost close to $2000 when we lost the IB too. That was rough. I got "cancellation insurance" when I booked my trip to Pasadena a couple months ago. Was the only reason I went ahead and booked since it said that by paying $40 bucks I was guaranteed a no-fees cancellation. Then found out the other night that when you click through a couple links and read some fine print at the bottom of like the 4th page that it only applies to expedia based fees and that it didnt in any way guarantee that the hotel and airline would let me cancel. which they didnt. fricking crooked arse cuntrags.

As far as Saban: I think he stays. Bama will be fine either way, but if he leaves he is in for a rude awakening. Texas is a train wreck and if he thought the media gave him Hell for leaving Miami...

That's bullshite. I work at a hotel and I tell you expedia can absolutely cancel a reservation and refund your money. It's really up to them not the hotel. Especially this far in advance because they will absolutely sell that reservation.

I said the same thing to the bitch on the phone but she insisted that I was fricked. Pissed me off. Started to just go anyway but if I had gone, and stayed in the hotel a half mile from the stadium I would more than likely have gone to jail because I would have killed an AU fan.
