Like 1/2 of you want them to.

Injuries, penalties, Grubb’s BS, sucky field position, getting fricked by refs, but they just keep playing and keep playing possession after possession after possession and as easy as it would be to just mail it in with Grubb’s offense that sucks a bag of dikks, but they REFUSE.

They just keep bringing that shite.

Check out the Luke Metz hit on Reed in the 4th quarter (3rd possession) and you can see him mouth it to him on the TV broadcast “All day boy all fu**in day, all fuc*in day”!!!

How you don’t root for that group???

They get put out there over and over in the worst situations and knowing the offense is inept but they fight their asses off.

The injuries are an accumulation of all the snaps they have to play bc of that cocksucker Grubb,

Ji Edwards , X Griffin. J Hill, I Taylor, J Edmonds, N Wilson, etc etc are on deck

They even drug that POS all the way to Atlanta last year.

I’ll be there in Baton Rouge/ Bryant-Denny West, LSU can get fu**ed too

Wommack holds LSU to 20 points and it's gonna break some psyches on this board.

Keeping Lee at corner is just criminal at this point. And Luke Metz is should be captain of the defense if hes not already. He's got that NFL look and is definitely a welcome sight on the field

Defense looked better than good late, but except for a couple of interceptions played bad most of the game.

Out of my concerns about Bama, defense is way down in the list. They aren’t the dominant defenses we saw in 1992, 2011, or 2015. But they are serviceable indeed. Offense has done them no favors. There are things I can pick at regarding our schemes at times, but they are not what is holding us back.

Supposedly the defense will be getting their dudes back:
- T Green
- J Hill
- Zulu?
- Z Brown
- Red Morgan doesn’t have to sit

Just getting T Green and Hill (fully healthy) would affect the outcome of the game, and having Z Brown back would allow the defense to matchup well with anyone.

The defense was #4 in the nation against the run going into the Georgia game and held them to 49 yards on the ground in the 1st half.

Losing T Green was obviously a killer, but (imo) fans underestimate the loss of Zulu and Hill.

Pierre and Thompkins are having to play just about every snap (shoutout to K Henry for stepping up today), so of course the pass rush isn’t what it was when they were far more fresh and could slide Thompkins inside in obvious passing situations with a fresh Pierre and Zulu coming off the Edges.

I just hope when Z Brown does return, that #5 is on the bench. Continuing to play him is crazy IF you have better options.

His PI penalties have led to several drives being extended that resulted in scores.

Chuck McDonald is very good. I think he’s a guy who will play on Sundays. I know he is just now starting to play a lot, but he has such a similar skill set to Anthony Averrett.

Brown and McDonald allow them to play man coverage without the risk that #5 poses.

If that is the case, then the defense will hold up fine and keep Bama in the thick of it, and hopefully will setup an easy score or two for the O.

Then it boils down to Grubb getting through the first few possessions without a catastrophe (or 3) occurring.

I really wish CKD would INSIST on using KR on some designed QB runs and incorporate reads (like zone read/power read), the way Sheridan used Milroe vs Baker (LSU DC) in 2024.

Baker notoriously struggles against dual threat QBs and thrives against pocket passers.

Mike Macdonald is considered one of the very best minds in all of professional football and he patiently gave Grubb multiple opportunities to adapt and the stats showed that Grubb threw the ball even more the final 1/4 of the season than at any other point.

He threw it 46 times (9 rush attempts) on a 16-9 defeat to end the Seahawks” season. The rest is history,

Roll Tide Ravens has Kiffin as his one last hope to score over 27 points or the streak goes to 22 straight SEC games without an opponent eclipsing that mark.

keep in mind, we're dealing with coaches that hasn't trained the qb not to throw the ball after crossing the los, smh...

Morons acting like we got shredded by Texas A&M's offense can't even be bothered to look at the stats:

Marcel Reed: 14/21 163 yards 1 TD 2 INTs

Leading Rusher KJ Edwards: 8 carries 43 yards

Leading Receiver Mario Craver: 6 catches 45 yards

"KANE WOMMACK GOT EXPOSED!!!!11!!!!"

Well let me tell you a little story about a man named Jalen Milroe that threw the ball after crossing the LOS twice in the same game...

Guess who his head coach was?

I think a lot of people here let the Tessitore and Palmer cock gobbling of Marcel Reed skew their opinion on the defense's performance yesterday.
