It was, but A&M scored 26 with a fumble at the goal line. 500 yds of offense and 430 passing against CU. A&M outplayed them and probably deserved to win.

Clemson couldn’t run the ball, either. That’s the big reason Bryant went back in. He was their leading rusher because A&M shut down Etienne (sp?). Clemson barely gained 100 yards rushing.

Bama would shut that down. Lawrence would hit some plays here and there passing, but they’d struggle sustaining drives and maintaining TOP. If we’re relatively healthy on offense, we win going away.

The ACC is extremely weak this year so Clemson hasn't even played a top 10 team

Tua will be healthy for the playoffs.

Let me again remind that this is one of the main reasons why expanding the playoffs is a stupid idea. Someone convince me why it would be a good idea to try and squeeze one more game in December out of our kids, or any team, for that matter...why it's a good idea to give these guys one week less to get healthy.

I'm confident we can beat Clemson with Hurts.

But I expect Tua to be fine.

I just want to make the playoffs first. That isn't a given.

Could they just get rid of the 4 OOC games during the regular season, and then add those 4 games back to the playoff end of the season?

They only managed to score 2 touchdowns against BC. BC is ranked 50th in Total defense.

We scored two touchdowns in the first 10 mins against the 8th ranked Total defense.

Huh? Move 4 OOC games for all 128 teams to January? Explain.

Clemson is good and peaking. Dabo has built a sustainable program. They concern me, especially if Tua’s mobility is limited.

The best team Clemson has played is Texas A&M and they should have lost to them.

Trevor Lawrence looks like he's gonna be great...but Bama tends to struggle more with great dual threat QBs and, as of now, I don't think he's much of a running threat...

Sorry I wasn't thinking clearly and didn't say exactly what I was thinking. I meant play 9 reg season conference games (change one ooc game to a conf game) and then tack the remaining 3 ooc slots to the end of the season after the SECCG for playoffs.

So it would be 10 total conf games (if you played in the SECCG) and then 3 rounds of playoff games to get into the NCG. Total of 14 games if you made it all the way, which would end up being 1 less than we'll have this year.

Edit: Now I see what you're asking and understand why this woudln't work. You'd have to make the playoffs in order to play those 3 games! So it's not really possible. Man I'm dumb lol.
