The offense was so hard to watch after Trelly got hurt again. It was basically Philon out there 1 on 5 with nobody else a threat to create

We bring back a G league player and lose at home?

ETA: to an unranked team at that

Yep that's it. We're all just big dummies that don't know anything about sports.

Our problem this season hasn't been the head coach, it is the fact we don't have good big depth (should be fixed assuming Bediako and Sherrell stay healthy but..) and we can't keep this team healthy so we're playing a different hodgepodge lineup every fricking game.

To an unranked team that was a pre-season favorite in the league, and that has a ton of talent.

Including their own 23yr old former pro.

I stopped watching at halftime. Glad I didnt watch as my BP and my language would have been bad. Most years we have guys who start the season with nagging injuries. And it appears to get worse over the season. Only 73 points is pretty bad.

Its a combination. The BB players 'want' to do well, but the lack discipline and some lower basketball IQ makes them play very sloppy and unfocused sometimes.

We had 2 of our best players out. 2 guys who both average 29 minutes per game and combine for almost 30 of our points per game. We lost by 6. We win comfortably with Biz and Allen in the lineup. If we can get healthy, and that's certainly no guarantee with this snakebit group, we'll be fine.

Yeah, the injuries and constantly changing availability of multiple players is a big deal.

Not too worried about last night specifically.

Pretty clear that at least 2 of Philon, Holloway, Trelly and Allen have to be on the court at all times against good defensive teams. Otherwise, the offense is 100% Philon dribbling around waiting for a chance to drive.

Would be great if Bethea comes around to give us another drive threat but right now he's just trying the win the entire game in a minute with highlight plays on both ends of the court.

Wait… are people really melting about the loss last night?

Mostly just the usual suspects who only show up after a loss.

Williamson and Bethea being major transfer whiffs hurts too. Chuck ought to resolve one but we really don't have a 3rd shot creator behind our two lead guards. Wrightsell can't be relied upon because they clearly will pull him any time he seems a bit iffy. He can be that guy for the minutes it is needed but when Hollway isn't out there then you're depending on a guy that they will pull back his minutes at the slightest discomfort.

I got to be honest, I made the executive decision to just watch this on replay after Biz and Allen got declared out. I didn't think we'd win this game without them because of the exact things that happened: too little rebounding and too much Philon hero ball due to the lack of other ball handler options.

No need to get too upset about that loss. There are more coming over the hill for this team. Nate and staff have done a great job with Bama BB. We're due a pullback.

Two starters who are majorly important players out. Charles looked great. In a weird way I think Nate fell in love with using size this game. Playing 2 of Charles/Aiden/Noah and even adding TBB at the 3 really limited our spacing and what makes us special with outside shooting(Biz being out hurts that as well).

I think Aiden and Charles can play together. I don’t think Charles and Noah or TBB should play offensive possessions together because the shooting isn’t there.
