Look, I said some of the same... but in this environment, this post aged like milk on a gulf shores beach in the middle of July.

Doesn't count. It was a proposal, a hypothesis. Not a prediction.

Although, it does remind me of how that whole 2000 incident was one of Mal Moore's weirder choices. Like, who does that? Just let the man clean out his desk.

One thing at a time. I'm worried about the LSU game. No free lunches in the SEC.

If we lose to Oklahoma but otherwise win out we would play TAMU in the SEC title game. I would assume a loss there doesn't eliminate us from the playoffs.

In other words, I think we can drop a game to any SEC team for the rest of the regular season and still make the playoffs.

I think Bama has to be willing to play field position ball against them.

That's one of my concerns. We've gone for it on 4th down near midfield several times this season. Our defense has improved enough that we should be willing to punt and pin teams deep.

We don't need to give Oklahoma any easy field-position wins, especially early in the game.

Watch last years game and any intelligent Tide fan would be "worried".
Nobody manhandled Alabama as badly as they did last year....and they weren't considered a "good" Okie team.
