Saban should have handled this last year after the USF debacle.

I think this is when Saban first thought of leaving.

I mean, by all indications Saban loved Milroe. Always spoke pretty highly of him. There never seemed to be any animosity between them. Hard to buy that he was some kind of cancer to the team last year and Saban not only ignored it, but blissfully ignored it.

You're right now that I reflect more on it... whole thing is such a mess.

So 2 weeks ago we all noticed how Milroe wouldn’t look anywhere but Bernard when he had Ryan open a lot and then this week he wouldn’t look anywhere but at Ryan Williams.

Just speculating but it’s almost as if he iced Ryan out vs South Carolina and then got told to look for Ryan more against Tennessee and threw a tantrum and only threw it to him.

This could just be me reading to much into something and speculating.

I feel like this. DeBoer has won championships. I know. I know. ThAT wAs nAiA!!!

But he's won championships. Nobody on this team has. So if somebody has to go, it's the chumps on this team that aren't buying in.

Now, if DeBoer thinks the best way to do this is to let the year play out and have some blessed subtractions in Dec, so be it.

If he's allowing the program to be run by the older guys to prove to the younger guys that his way is better, than so be it. There's more than one way to skin a cat. IDGAF if EVERY guy on the team leaves and he has to rebuild from scratch. DeBoer is the guy. He's not Gomer Jones, he's Barry Switzer. Just let him cook. But let him buy the groceries too and throw out what's rotten.

DeBoer is a winner and can win at BAMA. The plague on this team notwithstanding. But Dec is coming, and if BAMA isn't in the playoffs, the plague will get shown the door.

I’m just gonna hope we win Saturday and figure it out in the bye week. Just win out and make the playoffs and even if we lose our first game that will calm down the money people. Then DeBoer can get rid of the cancers this offseason

Steps in the right direction, but where was this from him over the last 18 months?

I’m glad he’s showing more fire and demanding more from his teammates, but if what was posted ITT is true - that Booker will only put forth effort if Milroe is the guy - then he also needs to be held accountable and scrap that mentality with the quickness.

I really believe they will. Again, I think DeBoer is one of those guys that will let you do something your way until you fail and then come back to do it his.

It's like a dad that is trying to tell his son how to change his oil. And the son won't listen because he's seen it done on tiktok. Son gets himself under the oil pan and gets splashed in the face with oil. Hates it. Cusses the car. Throws the socket.

Then dad calmly and cooly comes over and shows him how to do it properly.
Instead of Saban who will start cussing you as soon as you get out of position. It's just a different approach to solving the same problem.
We got used to the latter as fans, but the former can be just as effective.

There's a time and place for it. People don't typically listen to wisdom until they've fricked up.

SIAP. This seems to refute the idea that Booker is a part of causing any locker room problems.

No, it does not. This is the same staff that was running around praising Malachi Moore after he acted foolishly in the Vanderbilt game. I take anything these guys say with a grain of salt right now. These coaches are going out of their way to constantly talk up and praise the very guys who are the cancer problems in the locker room.

It refutes nothing and actually helps the case that something is wrong .

The fact that he feels the need to say all that tells me Booker is a problem.

JMO but the deal with Moore and Vandy in those last minutes have pushed everything into the open. There is no undoing Moore's deeds. Watching the 11 million dollar coach unable to get his player off the field was amazing.

Most all of the high dollar contributors were around when CLASS was a huge part of what Alabama Football was about.

I’m saying that it seems to refute that Booker is one of the guys causing a problem. I’m not saying that it means there are no problems in the locker room.
