Hell, y’all haven’t even mentioned that Owen is not only getting whipped like a rented mule, he’s tipping plays with his alignment.
When Bama is running the ball or it’s a quick screen or slant pass that won’t require a pocket, Owens feet are even and parallel to the LOS. When it’s a pass and he’s in pass pro, his right foot is half a step back behind his left before the snap. If we’re picking up on this, you know opponents are.
He’s a liability no matter how you slice it. And the guy is a 5th year senior. I appreciate his hard work and dedication but if we’re going to get whipped at RT all day, let’s do it with a younger guy who might at least learn the job or grow a pair and get tired of being a blocking dummy. Owen has had a 7 game tryout at RT and failed. Next man up. I’d love to know what his PFF grade is.

You any examples of this? I'm not disagreeing with you, but I haven't noticed it, but I also don't generally focus on the him when I'm watching.

I wish our coaches would notice this.

...and that my friends, is a coaching problem.
Back to Marrone.

Go back and watch any game for more than a few offensive plays and you'll see what I'm talking about. It's not subtle at all. It's very evident and very consistent.
