Doesn't seem cool to throw shade at a teammate like this. Also some of the responses are backfiring on him a bit.

You talking about the punter thing? Looked more like a LOL look I used to punt thing than anything else.
I mean, the long snapper responded to it laughing. They probably were all laughing in the locker room about how some of them used to punt in high school or something. Who knows.

You didn’t link the tweet, but I know which you’re talking about. Jokingly posted highlights of him punting and said he should be our starting punter. I don’t think he meant it wrong, but it came out wrong. Should delete, IMO

Mack posted that at 10:47 last night. They weren't in the locker room. Specialists are part of the team, but when they continually frick up they tend to be ostracized pretty quickly since they literally only have one job to do. I'd be stunned if DeShort is back next year.

No. Fans read into these things more than the players do. Pretty clear he was joking, and I doubt DeLong took offense and probably laughed himself.

Maybe so. Seems as a general rule we would rather not have our players putting specific teammates on blast for poor play on Twitter. But maybe the team is cool with it. Or maybe it pisses DeLong off and he starts kicking the shite out the ball. Just was a surprising thing to see to me.

I am one of Mack's biggest critics but those are some stupid arse fans right there.
Regardless of Mack sucking our punter is pure trash and attempting to deflect or protect him doesn't change that.

It's not very deep. He all but said I haven't kicked since HS and even I can kick better than this bum.
I mean, it could be true but the question is whether it's cool to put it out there on Twitter. I don't think it is that big a deal in the long run, just surprising to see for me.
