I like our chances and expect UGA to come after Bryce but Bryce is one of the best QBs in the country under pressure.
The key is our D has to pressure Stetson. If we can we can force mistakes and/or turnovers.
After watching continue to develop and never seem rattled and with the emotion the players are showing I expect us to bring our best game and with it a win.

If BoB can actually scheme some quick passes, screens, etc I think our offense will come together. Anything long developing is likely to get Bryce killed eventually.
And Bryce needs to not drop back so far, IMO. He takes like 6 huge steps every time. But I get it.

Need some key scrambles from Bryce to keep drives going

We haven't seen designed runs for Bryce all season. This would be the time to break them out. We've seen how elusive he can be scrambling. Put that to good use on purpose.

Can someone with more knowledge of the game tell me why we did not throw any screens against Auburn with them bringing extra guys multiple times?? I kept thinking surely we will throw a screen here in a second.

Man I would looooove to see Bryce beat the mush rush 3-5 times Saturday to just trot down field and walk out of bounds to pick up the first.
WE had to go through that frustration and pain with Kirby it's only fair UGA fans have too as well.
I don't think Young runs enough to get that strategy tho.

Been calling for a traditional screen pass all year. Only thing I have left is it’s honestly not in the playbook

Our offensive play-calling is shockingly limited. It's very strange. I have no prior knowledge of Bob's offensive play-calling so I don't know if this is just who he is (very limited and straightforward playbook) or whether he for some reason has played it close to the vest this year.
I just think Bama's current offense makes it way to easy for the opposing defense to get comfortable with what they are seeing.

I really want Saban to take the ball if we win the toss and take a shot the first drive. Try to jump on them early like we did against Florida in 05.

Not that anyone asked, but I think we have a few simple keys to winning this game. Up-front caveat: I understand football on a general level, but I'm not a person who can break down film and such.
1. No turnovers.
Florida was playing Georgia very close in the first half, and with about three minutes to go the wheels fell off due to two turnovers that Georgia converted into touchdowns.
I'm not convinced Georgia can drive the field on us consistently; as per usual under Golding, we've herp-derped our way through the regular season defensively and are just now beginning to round into shape. Without turnovers to give them a short field, I'm not sure Georgia will score more than 24 to 27 points on us.
2. Bryce must complete at least 70% of his passes.
I have no confidence whatsoever we'll be able to run the ball consistently in this game. Our ability to generate offense is going to rely almost exclusively on Bryce and the receivers. This means Bryce will have to be exceptionally efficient. Fortunately, he's very capable of doing that.
3. Roll the pocket.
We haven't done this at all this year (to my recollection), which makes no sense to me. Rolling Bryce out will allow him to see the field better, slow down Georgia's pass rush, and give him the option to make plays with his feet if needed. I wouldn't use a ton of designed runs for him -- he's tough, and has proven that this year -- but if he goes down we have no chance whatsoever to win this game.
4. Georgia backs and tight ends can't have more than 100 yards receiving.
Our linebackers and defensive backs HAVE to take away the screens, wheel routes and seam routes by Georgia. I'm not terribly worried about Bennett being able to complete long passes on us consistently; I think our pass rush will significantly reduce the time he has to target long-developing routes. But that means his intermediate routes have to be covered consistently, so he can't check down to an open receiver or hit a tight end along the seam.
5. Stetson Bennett can't have more than 50 yards rushing.
Bennett is much more athletic than people give him credit for, and his scrambling ability will give us headaches if we don't maintain gap control with our rush. I think we'll sack him a few times, but he can single-handedly extend Georgia drives with his legs. If he does that on even a semi-regular basis, they'll be able to control the game.

Tim Tebow said something very interesting this morning on SportsCenter. He said Georgia's defensive line is not dominant rushing the passer, but they are against the run, he pointed out that Georgia's defensive line is the second slowest in the SEC at getting to the quarterback. I had no idea that was the case.

Georgia's front is good but the area we need to attack is their corners & safeties because they aren't good coverage. Kirby will run zone coverage on Alabama and if he runs man to man for majority of the game... Alabama will shred them and that's just my honest opinion
