Don’t really think we can pin that int on Milroe. Sure it was a little low and behind, it was a tight window and he rushed it a bit. But the random crazy ricochet into a Georgia defenders hands, is just dumb luck. 99% of the time that ball just hits the ground at the receiver.

Yea, it was mostly unfortunate but still his INT. Cost us some points though.

Statistically, sure. But he didn’t have a direct hand in the outcome. I really think they should have a category of deflected ints.
Not great placement, but that one needs to be caught

No way you put that squarely on Milroe.
Look at any of Beck's INT's to see picks that are the direct fault of the QB.

Yes, but frankly Dipree would probably be the first to agree that he should have caught it. But really I don’t blame either, but if you must assess blame DJ deserves as much as Jalen.

I don't think that it was a bad decision by Milroe. it was a toss that unfortunately got bobbled. It was an unfortunate play that cost points. With that being said; that's not the point of the thread which was scripted plays vs real time coaching.
If our offensive/situational play calling doesn't improve, it will lose us a game.

Milroe just kept the ball when he should have handed it off when they made the adjustments
This is it. UGA said we will stop Milroe at all costs and see what happens. Staff should have coached him on the game when it was so obvious. Hand it off. But I love the win.

Milroe absolutely should have handed that ball to Germie B. on the RPO Jet Sweep. That was not a vanilla play call and they did try to dial the play calling up later in the game.
I'm not sure why we went through that lull. I maybe wrong and need to re-watch but I even think we slowed down a lot of the pre-snap movement which was A BIG part of what worked in the 1st Half.

My biggest fear from the UGA game came to fruition today. Our coaching staff is not the best in-game staff.
With that being said; I expect this team to rebound.

Looking back at this thread from the UGA game. Still rings true. Except our scripted plays are worse but that could be due to execution.

Bye week before UGA- the script was twice as long and repeated
If Milroe makes it to the next bye look for him to have a good 1st half vs LSU getting all the Milroe LANK gang chirping, and then all act shocked when he looks like it's his first start ever in the second half.
Entire season was doomed when DeBoer took a knee at Milroe feet to start the season.

Beck has 8 TDs and 8 INTs in SEC play. Against ranked teams he has 5 TDs and 6 INTs.
For all the talk about Milroe stinking it up, Beck has been absolute arse in games against good competition.

With scripted plays, Milroe has a full week to work on what and how to operate within those sellect pllays. A good DC then knows the game plan within the first 12 to 15 plays. He can make adjustments on the sideline to slow the roll.At halftime, the DC and staff can fine tune the field adjustments to shut down the Alabam plan.
The Alabama staff can make whatever adjustments they want at the half. They can even attempt to make in-game adjustments. The problem then become, Milroe has not had all week to rehearse, exectution then falls on his ability to exectute what he reads instead of what he has rehearsed... Do any of us still think he is capable of high level processing on the fly?
Other DC's now have 6 to 8 weeks of film on what Milroe does best and how to stop it. All that is left is hope and prayer. Hope the defense has a mistake and pray Milroe hppens to see the mistake and hit the long pass. I guess the good news is Milroe has a good long ball. The bad news, he hits a fast strike or goes 3 & out.

Beck is throwing the ball to his primary receiver, and he knew that when he broke the huddle! He ain't all that but he is still pretty good.
