I said I wasn't getting into it again. But, yes, I DO make some of you look bad, it's true. You're letting one troll (not me) get you all fired up again to the point of revisiting your bullshite 26-2 defenses from last year.
Can you not tell the difference between people who have legitimate opinions and critiques and those that are just saying what they know will set you off on your idiotic crusade to pretend Jalen is more than a solid backup and mediocre QB that benefited from being on the the best team in the nation? No, clearly you can't.
Jalen is a great kid, great teammate, mediocre passer, and as far as being part of the "best QB duo in the nation" ......... if he is, it's because Tua is better than anyone else.

No. If I had to vote on that, I'd have to go with the Evolved Simian guy since he's the only one I noticed that resorted to over the top personal attacks. I think he called a poster an idiot. I think he's also the guy that suggested a poster should be banned. Just trying to shut people up. Reminds me so much of Jalen fans the last couple of years. Yeah, that's a little over the top.
But
You do realize that it is possible for someone to have supported Jalen when he was our starter and think that he did some good things for us, and also still have recognized that Tua is an incredible talent, and is a better QB than Jalen? The human mind is an incredible thing, you know. It can have two mutually exclusive opinions. Crazy, huh?

The point is that a lot of Alabama fans on these boards tried to shout down and shut up those who suggested Tua was better and might should play more if Jalen continued to struggle. Evolved Simian is doing the same thing above when he personally attacks the other poster with a different opinion, and suggests that he be banned.

But it more than "suggested." Yall would litter every single thread with it. There would be a thread about Alabama water skiing, and Jalen haters would turn it into a Jalen and Tua thread. That is why people reacted the way they did. Some reacted too harshly, I agree, but on both sides of the fence.

Maybe I should clarify that Funky wasn't talking to me, but another poster. Anybody that follows the dialogue in the thread would know that but sometimes I get the feeling that some folks don't or can't follow the dialogue.

Also, adults should not compulsively harp over and over and over on a beaten subject even when the subject has nothing to do with the subject at hand. Also, adults shouldn't personally attack and belittle a college football player because they didnt play football the way that they wanted them to.

My last post in this thread since it has ran it's course. It should probably be anchored and Jalen/Tua threads we're old and stale by May. The below is ridiculous.

Oh ok. Sorry about that. Actually, I do agree with you. I don't really get why it continues to be a point of contention. Tua is the starter and Jalen is playing better than he did last year. Maybe because he isn't under as much pressure. Anyhow, I think it's worked out pretty good. I'd like Tua to get more playing time to pad those stats, but on the other hand, he's less likely to be injured when he's on the sideline with the game well in hand.
