If next year is as shitty as this one is, he needs to step down.

The college football landscape is changing, and Brian Kelly in his first season just beat Saban with a returning Heisman winning QB.

This year is embarrassing all the way around. This was supposed to be a superteam out for vengence. Instead, it's Georgia once again looking like the cream of this conference, while we can't even win the division in a down year for the West.

Our defense has been a giant gaping vagina ever since Golding was hired. Saban doesn't seem to notice.

BOB was a terrible hire who's responsible for 2 years of inept offensive play despite having a great Qb.

Both coordinators need to be gone in my opinion.

There is rot inside this program for the first time in Saban's tenure, and if it's not fixed soon, we will get quickly passed up in this hyper-competitive uber-conference - especially with Texas and Oklahoma set to join.

No point in reading any of your nonsense.

Saban has earned to go out on his own terms.

I agree, unless he starts to drag this program down and can't realize that he's the problem. If next year looks like this year, Byrne needs to have a serious conversation with Saban at the very least

It’s disturbing that this post got 9 upvotes.

Saban certainly gets more than 1 more year you clown.

Agree. If Saban doesn’t make some significant coordinator changes then he is no better than Shula at that point, not being able to recognize problems in the program.

You are about to be crucified by the same idiots who pressured the administration to hire Mike Dubose.

If he retains Golding and O’Brien, would you give him another year?

I think Saban got paid for his efforts.

Let me ask you all this question: If Lane Kiffin beats us next week with all of his 3 star recruits, what will you think at that point?

Gross negligence if either coordinator is retained.

I wouldn’t let them fly back to Tuscaloosa, but I know that’s unreasonable.

“You’re either coaching it or allowing it to happen”

If any of you gumps want to explain to me why a timeout wasn’t called when we were running a 12th man off the field I’m all fricking ears.

Honestly, I hope we can snatch him up before anyone else can.

I could be wrong but wasn’t that coming out of a timeout? I realize in saying that that I am only further proving your point.

We all knew it’d eventually get to this situation.

If the slide continues, hopefully Saban will admit he’s done and step aside for the good of the program. I still think he could stay here and hover around 10-11 wins a season for a while though. Is that good enough for us?

Give me Lane or give me death. This team has not been up to the standard for two years now. If we’re going to have a shitty defense and be undisciplined might as well have a fun offense to watch because this one makes me want to poke my eyeballs out

This’ll sound weird, but we may have an easier time hiring if Saban isn’t as hard of an act to follow…

Good point. We need to see major improvements on offense next year

I think a lot depends on the extent to which we slide and how quickly. What if we lose to Ole Mis next week, which seems entirely possible now?
What if Saban makes NO changes to the staff in the offseason?

What if we lose 3+ games next year? This thing can potentially snowball.

Im still behind Saban for now, but he needs to show next year that he can still field a competent, disciplined team that can compete for championships.

So you people want the guy who let LSU outscore him 42-3 after going up 17-3?

Kiffin is not the answer and I'm convinced no one actually watches OM play. This two point conversion nonsense everyone is railing about is Kiffin's MO. We can do SO much better than Kiffin.
