All of our guys we retained from last year have seemingly regressed except Wrightsell and Mo D. Sears has been the biggest disappointment. Man I hope Youngblood can alleviate some of our issues.

They are playing for money in this tournament; everyone seems very motivated.

They don't have the depth we do but they have 2 lottery picks and a solid supporting cast. They're a definite tournament team and being tied with them at half isn't something to panic about.

No the need for panic is that we cannot put teams away. The panic is our all American point guard is handicapping our offense.

We have a bigger problem. It's called Cliff. We don't capitalize at all with him in the game against smaller front courts. Oats generally just pulls him and goes small. Then we get stuck having to go back to Nelson covering the post.
Cliff also has not been a dribble drive paint stopper. His motor needs an upgrade. He is late to the party on drives to the hoop and he doesn't intimidate opponents

No panic, but that was a SLOPPY half of basketball on both ends.

Cliff has to rebound that miss and dunk it. The guy that challenged Mark’s shot also tied Cliff up. That shouldn’t happen
