I just hope Rolando can find some happiness in his life.

He made a bunch of money and is a simple dude (not in a negative sense). I'm sure he's doing fine. Probably fishing right now.

One of my all time favorite players of the Saban era. What a player ,what a leader. Sad that he lost his appetite for football

Dude wouldn't let Saban get a gatorade bath after the SECCG because that wasnt the finish line...after title game..yeah.

Applies to Foster too. They were probably the two most ferocious LBs under, and maybe defensive players in general, under Saban. But both had off field and injury issues. McClain showed just how good he could be in his short time with the Cowboys.

But I guess that applies to life in general. You need more then just talent to be successful in something.

Anyone know what he's up to?

If he's back home in Decatur, he's doing whatever his POS friends tell him to, and he'll be in the news again sooner or later. You ever see the video of the little fat kid who is whining because he just wants to do hoodrat shite with his friends? McClain was still doing that in his 20's and it's the reason he washed out of the NFL.

I hope he's found something better in life.

There is this strong inclination in all of us to want to be well-liked and accepted by our friends and neighbors, workmates. Some are more slaves to it than others, but it's a strong trait in all of us. The hardest thing some people will ever do in their life is getting out of their home culture and environment and stay out. Even when they have the means and circumstances to do it.

It's sad that he didn't go farther after college. He was truly great.
