Saban n bear has watched too many AU games in the last 2 weeks. He’s apparently decided that, to win, all 5 guys have to be able to hit the 3, and there is basically no other system that will ever be successful in CBB again. Somebody better let Coach K know.

I guess it all depends on when Houston exits the tournament. I would think we would know within a day or two from that point on what Sampson is doing.
Sampson was asked earlier today and said he and his agent have not been contacted but I would be surprised if Hunter hasn't been talking with Sampson's agent.
Hopefully at the very worst we know by early next week (Monday or Tuesday) but I guess it could all be delayed if Houston somehow makes the Final 4.

Guy on BOL who said it was Matta legit saying his friend inside the AD who told him Matta got fired today and that the Matta stuff was a deliberate leak by Byrne to smoke out internal leaks.

Had to bury my father in law yesterday so I’m slow in getting caught up with the new hire. Just wanted to say thanks for everybody posting Oats’ record and stats. Makes it easier. I feel better about the hire the more I read. I like GB’s approach too. We don’t need a big name. Avery had the name, but he wasn’t able to get the job done.
Any word on assistants yet? Is Bucky in play?

A source recently said that he needs to go. He has apparently been a major attitude problem for quite some time. He is talented but he affected the locker room this year.
