I don't know what you call getting out rebounded 52-28 other than getting exposed. We better hope Bristow can add some rebounding to the front court when he gets back into the fold.

It’s weird we own Houston they can’t beat us just one of those things

19 offensive rebounds is…something

Also holding us to 80 speaks to the quality Purdue brings. Lots to learn from this

We need Bethea back. He’s a dog. When he comes back he’ll create some stuff.

But we’re in trouble from a big standpoint. I think we were hoping Noah was something that he definitely isn’t.

Agreed. But Purdue is special. They are super long. That’s why they are predicting to win it all. But rebounding is our issue.

52 to 28 on the boards

And every loose ball, and they were in the bonus with 12 min to go

I'd rather play a team like Purdue in game 3 so the team can see that their effort on the boards is simply not going to cut it. There are a few teams in the conference that will eat us alive playing volleyball around the hoop until they score if they gotta.

Purdue made every shot. Got to give them credit.

Fouls for the whole game was 19 to 15 and was 16 to 15 before we started fouling late.

We lost by getting dominated on the boards and shooting. Lot of front of the rim shots from deep like the legs are tired already

No. It’s one Game. They made every shot. We will grow. We looked good in my opinion.

I hope this is a wake up call for this team when it comes to what type of effort it’s going to take on the boards.
I have hated Purdue ever since that goon threw either Caffey, McDyess or Roy Rogers, out of bounds that time and there was no call.

I had a bad feeling when they announced Onyejiaka was out indefinitely. He’s a big body you can run at someone like Cliff or TKR and will rebound. I expected 10 mins or so of him tonight. If he’s done for season we are thin and not tough at all at the 5. Anyone like Purdue or Florida will eat us up.

Honest question:

If you could get Williamson wide open on the perimeter every possession and Jemison wide open every possession, do you want them to shoot every time. Purdue decided to start banking on that and it was a really good momentum changing strategy
