BAMA made it from 2004 to 2018 between losses of more than two scores.

Lost by 17 to Arky and South Carolina, and 16 to LSU in 04.

Lost the championship game to Clemson in 2018 by 28.

Lost to South Carolina by 14 in 2010...

Alabama has won 98 games in a row against unranked teams, since the 2008 season began.

I think I saw the next closest program over that time had something like 8 losses to unranked teams over that time span.

And to Florida in 06 by 15, but those aren't losses of MORE than two scores.

What about the streak of being ranked No 1 in polls for 13 straight years? Miami is second with 7yrs.

Also 210 straight weeks of being in the Polls, third best so far and gaining.

Correct, a two possession loss is a 9-16 point loss.

In the time period given, Bama had 2 x such losses to AU, 1 to LSU, 1 to OU, 1 to UF, 1 to USC, and 1 to Utah. I think that is all, but all were under a two possession game as he stated.

The 31 game home win streak (2015/09/26..2019/10/26) was pretty cool. Bama record by 7 games. Currently at 6 and counting...

13 x consecutive 10 win seasons and counting. 14 is national record - Bowden and FSU 87-00.

10 x consecutive 11 win seasons and counting.

----
Honorable mention and related:

Nick Saban’s coaching record of zero losing seasons in his CFB coaching career

Eli Golds 409 games straight sadly ended, but awesome to think about.

ETA: that 11+ game win streak is the longest in AP poll era

Two possession would have been a better term for me to use.

At least 2 shutouts every season from 2011-2018, including a whopping 4 in 2012 (and 3 in 2011)

How many head coaches has each team had in the SEC since 2008? Bama's had one.

There have been 48 HC changes among SEC teams since Saban arrived in 2007.

As Saban enters his 15th year, he will tie Frank Thomas as the second longest tenured HC at Alabama. Coach Bryant obviously has the lead at 25 years. No other former Bama HC has more than 8.

Pretty amazing how rare it is to have a HC stay for a decade plus.

Nationally, longest tenures are:
1.  Kirk Ferentz, Iowa:  22 years (168-106 record at Iowa, 180-127 career record)

2.  Gary Patterson, TCU:  20 years (178-74 record)

3.  Kyle Whittingham, Utah:  16 years (134-66 record)

3.  Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State:  16 years (137-67 record)

3.  Frank Solich, Ohio:  16 years (115-82 record at Ohio, 173-101 career record)

6.  Rick Stockstill, Middle Tennessee:  15 years (94-92 record)

6.  Pat Fitzgerald, Northwestern:  15 years (106-81 record)

8.  Nick Saban, Alabama:  14 years (165-23 record at Alabama, 256-65-1 career record)

8.  Troy Calhoun, Air Force:  14 years (101-72 record)

10.  Dabo Swinney, Clemson:  13 years (140-33 record)

10.  Ken Niumatalolo, Navy:  13 years (101-67 record)

10. David Cutcliffe, Duke: 13 years (74-88 record at Duke, 118-117 career record)

13. Brian Kelly, Notre Dame: 11 years (81-39 record at Notre Dame, 252-96-2 career record)

14. David Shaw, Stanford: 10 years (90-36 record)

Since 2008, Alabama’s combined point total in losses is 142.

LSU’s combined point total in losses in 2020 was 102.

I love all these amazing stats, but my absolute favorite is the fact every single player since the 2007 recruiting class has left Alabama with at least 1 national championship ring. Even the 3 year guys who left early for the NFL. It really goes back to the 2006 class with the single exception being Andre Smith, who left early after the '08 season. They had to win the NC in 2020 to keep it going...and they came through with the greatest season ever.

I think it's just something that will never be duplicated...but you can say that about several dynasty stats. The level of consistency is mind boggling.

Last time Bama has lost to an SEC east team was Oct 9, 2010.

This one gets me every time.

This right here.

Since the playoffs started, 9 of the 28 teams to make the final 4 lost to an unranked team during their regular season.

Alabama hasn't lost to one in 13 years.

That type of consistency just doesn't happen.....

Got a few more!

From 2008-2020 Alabama is...

84-5 at home
49-6 at true road games
30-6 at neutral site games

The neutral site numbers are ridiculous. I didn't really realize we had played that many.

...has had 4 winning streaks of at least 15 games (what we consider a full season now, 12 regular season games, a conference title game and two playoff games).
26 - From 2015 vs ULM until losing to Clemson in 2017 CFPNCG
19 - From 2009 win vs VT until losing to South Carolina in 2010
16 - From beating Clemson in the 2017 CFP Semis to losing to Clemson for the 2018 NC.
15 - From 2012 win vs WCU to losing to Auburn in 2013.

We're currently on a 14-game win streak.

...has had two streaks of at least 20 consecutive home wins.
31 - From 2015 win vs ULM to 2019 loss to LSU
20 - From 2008 win vs Tulane to 2010 loss to Auburn

...has had three streaks of at least 10 straight true road game victories.
14 - 2014 win at Arkansas until we lost in 2017 at Auburn
12 - 2011 win at Penn St until we lost in 2013 at Auburn
10 - 2008 win at Arkansas until we lost in 2010 at South Carolina

Considering we only play 3-4 true road games per year, pretty amazing. Also, frick Auburn.

...had three 20+-game regular season win streaks.
32 - from 2015 win vs ULM until 2017 loss at Auburn
31 - from 2008 win vs Clemson until 2010 loss at South Carolina
20 - from 2018 win vs Louisville until 2019 loss vs LSU

We're on a current 10-game regular season win streak.

The number of male boners from Alabama Football Fans in the State of Alabama since 2008.

Don't worry my math checks out. (Give or take).

13 years * 365 days = 4745 days.
4,934,000 Alabamians * .48 males = 2,368,320
60% Alabama Fans = 1,420,992
1,420,992 Male Bama Fans * 4745 Days = 6,742,607,040 Boners

frick you SoG you aren't the only one that can do math.
