Disgusted is a better adjective.
Gonna be a complete rebuild on the OL now, but maybe it was needed.
We had bad Saban evals who were playing in the wrong system being coached on the OL by what appeared to be the worst OL coach in the conference.
I said going in before the attrition we needed 3-4 guys.
I’d say that number is closer to 7-8 now on the OL.
C: 1
IOL: 3-4
OT: 2-3

I like Raleek's tape. Kid is that good.

We DESPERATELY need 3-4 good defensive linemen from the portal. I know about the guy from USC but we need more.

Going to need some WRs as well. Down to 5

Raleek
The way he moves in the hole and contact cuts reminds me of Josh Jacobs.

Any early thoughts on what players we may to the portal? Posted by Bamafig on 12/17/25 at 4:41 pm
Mbakwe
R Young
J Hale
C Adams
O Alinen
J Renaud
Looking through the roster, we have a lot of young guys in the secondary and the team overall. There’s a lot of them I’ve never heard of. I don’t think we will lose anyone that we can’t afford to, no pun intended.
Renault is the only prediction missing for me at this point. Hopefully he will stay.

We have 5 starter level guys, but I agree we need depth.

A lot of guys are being told to look elsewhere in individual meetings …

Did you mistakenly think we like this? Unfortunately it is what we have, so it’s a matter of trying to make the best of it.

Just the way it works … look around the country , happening everywhere . Or their money will not be what they want .

Besides Formby, most were depth players so far

Bear88 is right. Some of the players were being told to look around, or told that their NIL deals were being changed... and so... Fromby Wanted tackle position and Bama said no.
Some of the players in portal were either passed up by younger guys or wanting more NIL money or etc.

Are we hearing anything encouraging on a change in OL coach and/or movement on any quality O Linemen we are targeting?
Although this will help to a degree, a new OL Coach most of all, we need a new S & C program facilitator. We are literally drug all over the field on defense, and pushed all over the field on offense.
I await to see any changes on philosophy from our coach. If there is not some change in that, we will be seeing a new head man in 2028. This marshmallow softness and no accountability approach will continue to yield what it has; we out talent some teams, and are beaten badly by teams that are at/or above our talent level. As a fan, I am sick of holding my tongue about it.

He was terrible for them and their fan base was yelling for him to be benched.
