Can you go on? I met Miguel (“Miggy”) when he was an SA (good coach), but he coaches Edge: 7-techs and ghost-9’s at OU, not Dline. The Mizzou guy you listed has only been there a year I think. The guy that produced that long stream of edge rushers there is gone

You think 7 out of the top 25 proves success? Or what about 4 out of the top 25 the year before? You said if it didnt work out this year you dont know if he will get a chance to fix it.

1. Every final four team was in the top 13. Fact.

2. It not working out would be something like a final record of 9-3 or 8-4 and missing the playoffs. I DON’T KNOW if that would get him another season. But there’s a chance it wouldn’t.

It’s wild that suggesting building through HS might not be the winning formula anymore or suggesting that there are risks gets pushback. Look at what’s happening in CFB right now. It’s not rocket science. Building through the portal is quickly becoming a VITAL piece of being a championship program. Is it a guarantee? No, but neither is counting on a bunch of freshmen and sophomores.

Still can’t believe Dottery is the same guy who got booted out of Clemson for being a pervert in the shower.

He should have to knock on the neighbors doors in the dorm to let them know a sex offender is living there.

I do not think CFR is the best out there, but I think he is very solid and his resume speaks for itself. You claimed he “had no resume except for as a strength coach”, meanwhile he had been the DL Coach at Ole Miss for multiple seasons.

Then you list AU’s DL coach who has been there (as a DL coach) for 1 season (maybe 2 but I’m fairly sure this was his first year with the DL Coaching tag).
Prior to that he’s only been a GA and analyst at a couple small schools. AU fans were griping when he got the job and said it was only bc he was an analyst with Freeze at Liberty.

It's crazy that my man changed his name and people forgot about it until he left Ole Miss. At least Michael Sam was respectful and only took mental pictures and didnt take actual pictures when he was at Mizzou.

There’s a Georgia Tech fan over on the MSB that insists that the current state of the CFB really benefits these smaller programs. But outside the Indianas and Ole Misses, the vast majority of programs (like Duke here) have turned into feeder schools. They’re being gutted every year

Man, Lane Kiffin and OM fans are going at it.

Dude is polarizing. Fans now trying to blackmail him saying they have proof he was having relations with staffers. They are pissed bc he is leaking $$ sheets and poaching players.

Remember the good old days when coaches would just take a picture of the recruiting board on their way out?

Based on all that they would be paying more than the NFL 1.1 draft pick would receive in year one.

We are no longer talking about a minor league football environment.

$10M for a player puts CFB potentially as a true competitor for even top tier football prospects if that number is true.

I mean Bray Hubbard is probably making more at Bama next year than he would've as a 3rd round draft pick so is it really that crazy?

I'm starting to wonder when the first school will decide to sign ZERO HS kids and just allocate 100% of their resources to signing guys out of the portal.

Telling you, that Kentucky game next year might be a much better game than we would think based on their record last year.

They've completely rebuilt that offense in one portal cycle.
