Looks like Jimothy knows how to get to the second level. I’ll take it

a lot to like in that video. They are selective plays, but still. Seems athletic and physical.

Correct a message board but that does not
Mean every thread we need to hear you whining but maybe one day you will get over that as well.

I agree with the essence of your post and will add that Seattle had a higher ranking in the all important ypc stat last year. Both in absolute (4.2 vs 4.1) and relative (19th vs 24th) terms. The reason Seattle ran for more yards this year is that the attempts were dramatically increased from 383 to 507 or 7.29 more attempts per game. That’s 4 attempts in the entire season from being second, 511, in the NFL in attempts though below average in success - 24 out of 32.

At least in Seattle, Grubb was not nearly the running game pariah he’s portrayed to be by many in the Alabama fan base.

I'd imagine that Jimward is a depth tackle and Peak is the starter target. I hope we don't miss. Need a Strong arse Offer for Peak because he seems like the only starter caliber OT we're pursuing right now.

Cool, thanks for the breakdown. Definitely not as bad as portrayed.

The reason he got fired was because his OL could not protect the passer but he preferred being pass leaning instead of maintaining better balance as they have this year. The justification for his termination was not without reason. They simply did not run the ball enough based on the talent mix they had in their facilities.

Peak has to be the top option right now. He would be a day 1 starter. Hopefully no more visits after TTwon

Like you said with the attempts, he was criticized for not running the ball enough. Too many games where they basically gave up running the ball

If we miss on him (and I hope we don't), there are some other starting caliber OTs in the portal. But so far it looks like Peak is our #1 target; so hopefully we're going all-in.

Do you know when Riker is supposed to be on campus? Looks like he might be at Penn State today?

On3 has Peak as the third best player in the portal. We need so much help on the OL, we’ve certainly got to make him say no to more money if all other things are equal between SCAR and us.

I’ll go buy another Yea Alabama small batch bourbon if it comes down to it. LOL
