Far to many weapons for Grubb. He is going to be confused.

Quadruple backwards pass where the ball ends up in Strayhorn’s hands as he’s sacked for a 45 yard loss while Williams, Brooks, Coleman, Smothers, and Keelon Russell are standing wide open in the end zone.

He can dress like a ninja turtle for all I care. I just hope he gets back to 2024 form. I’ve been one of the few folks defending him on here. I hope he was humbled this season because we need him to be elite.

Yeah. I just meant he had experience as a LT at IMG which means he probably has very good arm length for a C.

Good point.

I'm really kind of hoping that we look more towards guys coming out of smaller programs who have earned the right to move up. Why just swap our guys who never panned out for some other team's guys who never panned out?

Here is the thing with the nail paint and the stuffy; while they aren’t a part of the problem on the field, the are indicators that what we say about this team being too soft, or a finesse team, or mentally and physically weak. The harsh reality is that Bams is just another team. It isn’t the portal or NIL…it is that we recruit prima-donnas that care more about tik tok dancing than winning a football game: let alone lining up a cross from another man wanting to make his arse quit. Ro, Rueben, Ashawn, and Jonathan Allen would literally play nerd bash either our entire team, including tight shirt Grubb and our squinting head coach. Maybe those guys don’t exist any more, but I just watched a bunch of corn fed 3 stars push the shite in of every 4 and 5 star on our field. Also, before the “stars don’t matter, we weren’t that talented” crew comes in: I’m going to have a hard time believing our entire team is missed recruiting evaluations, but Georgia, Ohio State, and everyone else in the country wanted them too

I think we are going with the youve proven yourself approach like Indiana. Unless they are just super talented. Kind of like the michigan center we just took.

Not one single comment about the “Juice Squad”? You guys are slipping. I honestly didn’t think Pancake Posse could be outdone.

Desmond Williams reminds me a lot of Kyler Murray at Oklahoma. I’m taking bets he’s Miami’s rent-a-QB in 2026.

Really need a few of these to hit honestly. Was hard to cheer for Georgia to win theirs against Wilson, but a few of these have to stand up so it’s not a free for all every year

Rooting for a University to win a decision over money is so hard for me. It’d be good for CFB…..but also frick these institutions that receive so many federal grants, charge a crazy amount of tuition and books.

Then constantly ask for money through Alum channels, collectives, etc.

I am not upset either way but I hate to have some of these guys leave only because guys like Keely and even Fromby would have been at the very least good rotational pieces. Even if we hit gold with 4 portal OL if one goes down we’re right back to poor OL play.
