I agree and I don't get why it's so hard for some to grasp this. These coaches are just trying to win.

KDB went on Pat M's show and said this...

When Jalen Milroe is fresh, there’s really nobody like him at the quarterback position in the country.”

Whether people like this or believe it both Saban and KDB chose Milroe. Do we wish Ty Simpson was better? Yeah! However he obviously hasn't shown too really good head coaches they should go with him.

I see him going to OSU. Hey Jimbo Fisher could be hired by his old boss from A&M

Yeah. They inquired. If Riley leaves USC for UCF, then he's more retarded than previously thought. No way he takes that job.

Would he want to try to go to Ohio State?

Wish that was the case against OU

There will be 4 teams that will have to put 3 good games together in a row, and 8 teams that will have to put 4 good games together to win it all.

Obviously one team will do it, but objectively looking at it now, there isn't one of these teams that is guaranteed to always play well.
Maybe Oregon? Maybe Texas?

Name a QB that has as high a ceiling while simultaneously having as low a floor as Milroe

if we are in a tight game where Jalen is displaying clear signs of Tennessee/Oklahoma if he has more urgency to give something else a try or not, as opposed to the regular season.

I can't help but wonder if CKB's refusal to try another QB was based on Milroe's "even my coach didn't believe i could be a QB" attitude/mental weakness. I wouldn't trust that dude to graciously accept being benched for even a quarter. Maybe I'm wrong, but his lashing out publicly (even if i didn't like BOB) left a bad taste in my mouth.

I absolutely refuse to believe that Deboer has so little faith in a former 5* who has looked, at the very least, serviceable the tiny amount we've seen him, that he thinks he's worse than bad Milroe. I think it has more to do with sticking with Milroe in year one to avoid rocking the boat. There's no way Ty, or Lonergan, or even Mack doesn't know how to line everyone up, audible out of bad looks, recognize a blitz, or throw guys open. I refuse to believe none of them can do those things.

As far as who wins the playoffs, my bet is on the SEC.

Probably Cam Newton If he wasn’t so fricked up in the head. He had the opportunity to be great but threw it all away.

He doesn't have a high ceiling though. That's over, he's devolved. He can't even hold onto the ball anymore. There's no longer anything he does consistently well. Nothing.

JMO after 4 years of #4 I believe successful plays with #4 are accidental.

The other plays are just his norm.

His post-game interviews are pretty consistently good.

Huh? Did you watch the fAU game? He threw some absolute dimes (as he has done, sporadically, in other games this season). Hence, he has a high ceiling because he can make those types of plays. He just doesn't do it with any sort of consistency, which is why his floor is also extremely low.

I agree Milroe has a high ceiling. Probably the highest of any single player in the playoff. Unfortunately, there isn't a player in the playoff that's had a game as bad as he had vs OU.

I think the problem with Milroe is that there's more lows then highs these days. Doesn't make him a horrible player but not quite the high level player Bama needs to win all their games

He does nothing "consistently" well anymore, those days are over for him. Doing an ok job every once in a while is not what a professional does and make no mistake about it, Jalen Milroe is a professional football player, who's ceiling has drastically lowered.

Yeah I did watch the game and I watched him cough up the ball four times. He's terrible at his job and as the season progressed, he only worsened.

Not only will he not win an championship for Alabama, he'll likely be the reason it's lost.

Yeah it does. He's a garbage quarterback.
