We've got 3 6'5"-6'8" wing defenders now in Mallette, Allen, and Hannah that we were missing last year and Bethea should be back for conference play at 6'5".
My concern isn't with the backcourt at all. We need to get Bristow back and able to contribute in the front court. Sherrell is a good small 5 but when he's out we have to play Bowen there and we really need him at the 4 to be our best. Not sure how much Onyejiaka will contribute when conference play starts.
This team is built for March though. Great guards and long wing defenders is how you make a deep run, and we've got that.

Interesting thought I had earlier: If a Genie came to me and said he could do a trade where we get Hurley, Golden, or anyone else AND guarantees us a National Championship OR I could just go on as is with no intervention and just let it play out…I would just let it ride with our guy Oats. It would mean 10x more with him at the helm with what he’s built here

I mean I guess that sounds great in theory but this ain’t 2015. Being a college coach right now sucks arse. Obviously want him to stay but understand if he takes an nba gig. College sports are a clusterfrick and until things are fixed I don’t blame a dude for retiring or taking a pro job.
