A lot more than they did the 1st go around. Did our rush to the line make it where Cheater couldn't steal the plays??

Sugar huddle seemed to have some success.

the answer is yes. This is not a new thing with Venables, and I dont know why anyone ever does anything else against him

The sugar huddle and getting Ty a helmet where he could actually hear the calls kept Skeletor from getting our signs.

The big thing Bama did often was not sub. as often. Many times Bama left the personnel on the field, checked the D, then made the adjustments with plenty of time left on the play clock. It helped but they are still a very good defense and made the O-line looked like children trying to block them - it helped to even it out some.

OU has an insane defense. The fact that we did what we did with R Mason Thomas on the field makes it even more impressive. He’s a monster.

Went and looked at the play stats on espn, times where we went sugar huddle, we confused them for the most part.

I've never understood it either. It's an open secret that Venables is a prolific sign stealer. Whether it rises beyond gamesmanship to the level of outright cheating is another discussion, but you go into any game against him with the understanding that he's going to have some knowledge of the play you're about to run. Giving him more time to figure it out is stupid.
