Herbstreit basically describing that Clemson doesn't know the other teams plays and they don't know what to do and can't be aggressive

I think it’s really easy to forget just how much more experienced talent the 2018 Clemson defense had compared to this one.
2018 D-line had some legit beasts, first round guys and several of them. This D-line has a couple talented freshmen.
There’s no Isaiah Simmons out there this year. I don’t claim to know enough about the secondaries to really compare them, but the difference in the front 7 is pretty massive.

Surely the whole sign stealing thing isn't something Clemson started doing this season. You'd think it would have come up a long time ago. Venables has been notorious for signaling in the playcall at the last second for years.

Clemson defense can’t get line up, making the running lanes massive. Then they do stunts and OSU runs away from them. Crazy I’ve not seen a Clemson Def this confused.

Gotta think it was one of those things that coaches HATE to accept and use in their gameplanning.
But at some point, teams realized they were getting beat by it, and they had to do something different (if they could).
Ohio State has an offense that is conducive to doing it with sugar huddle and going fast.

Agree and also in the ACC game they played zone and zone blitz 90 % of that game..!
