I’m pretty sure we played them towards the end of the season, 5 years or so ago, and they were taking shots left and right and we had numerous guys get the crap end of it

A 6-0 Ohio St doesn't belong in the playoffs, even though I believe they are the 2nd best team in the country.
10 games should be the minimum game threshold to be eligible for the playoffs.
Ohio St would have too big an advantage going into the playoffs with so few games played.

I agree with your points, but the committee has already stated there won't be a minimum number of games requirement to qualify. If Michigan can't play Dec 12, there might be another team OSU can play instead. If so, the B1G title game would be OSU's 7th game.
