We probably will.
A few weeks of this and (not likely in my neighborhood) there will be riots.

Actually this is going to be the next phase of all this in regards to the response of the people especially in the larger cities. hey will not follow the guidelines issued in orders and then they will start seeing less and less open with limited to no resources for their daily needs. Rioting and crime will be on the rise.

Ivey and AG Marshall having a press conference this afternoon likely means she's issuing a shelter in place order.

Exactly what will the "shelter in place" mean?
We can't go to work anymore? We can't shop at Lowe's for home improvement items?

This is America?

It’s essentially an advisory. Because you can still go out for groceries, “essential work”, exercise, and other emergencies. Not sure what it means for places like Lowe’s.

If it is like the other states, it means nothing different than what's happening right now.

The map now includes a breakdown of reported deaths by county. Jefferson has no confirmed deaths but a leading 6 reported deaths.

1454 cases and 38 reported deaths.

Only Perry and Geneva counties don't have any confirmed cases.

Alabama's Attorney General says Reed misinterpreted governors order and had no authority to issue the limitations he did so they are unenforceable.
Reed's order is invalid.

I hope Ivey issues the order just so Archibald will quit virtue signaling over it. It’s changes nothing but if you listen to Archibald you’d think Ivey (who’s a moron) was telling everyone to just go on with business as usual.

Seems like somebody said that would happen upthread.

In news already known, Stephen Reed is an idiot.

Nobody of importance listens to Archibald. That's what pisses him off so much.

I wish they would tell us wtf is essential and what isn't. Has it changed with this order?

Just got to see what it says. Bet it isn't substantially different that what was in force yesterday.

Would you happen to have a link? I haven't been able to find it yet.

I am trying to determine if my Dad's small business (tile installation company) is allowed to continue working.
